Some much needed family fun!

It's been a bit hectic the last few days! We got up and went to church Sunday morning for the first time at a new church. The pastor was so funny and made a new church less scary for me! Then Charlotte went to Mimi's for a few hours and Scott and I ran a few errands, cleaned out the truck, and went to the pool hall to play a few rounds before going to get her. I don't know what it is about the pool hall but it always is a place we enjoy going, without baby of course!

After we picked Charlotte up, we went home and relaxed for a few hours and watched tv and played COD:ghosts!( Another one of our couple things) Then I packed a bag for Charlotte, did Scott's laundry, and cleaned up the house. Finally I packed my bag.

Why am I packing bags and cleaning up the house you ask? Well, Charlotte and I are with Scott this week going to Florida. We are going down to the gulf coast for a little sun, surf, and family time, and Scott has to work a day down there as well! Then we are heading back home for Charlotte's first Halloween. Then she is staying with Mimi for a sleepover and hubby and I are going downtown to a Halloween parade! So it should be a lot of fun! I'm so excited for her first Halloween! Lots of pictures to follow that!

Excited for the water and the sand! I absolutely love the beach, and the gulf coast is such a beautiful side of Florida! Cannot wait to be with my toes in the water and my butt in the sand!

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to all! It's been a wonderful family weekend! Unfortunately our Memorial Day ended early, since Scott is now headed to work. He has to be in Miami, 7 am tomorrow! Yuck. Luckily Monday is almost over and we only have to make it until Friday until we see him again! Trying to stay positive and look at it as a good thing, not a bad. It is hard to see him leave, but I know he has to go to work. Charlotte was sad but luckily nap time was soon after he left so she transitioned into sleep fine. She will be upset when she gets up in a few but lots of cuddles, cartoons and playing until bed time will keep her preoccupied. We are headed to the beach this weekend, and then staying down there for the week while Scott works, but we will all be together and Mommy and Charlotte will be looking at houses while Daddy works so we will stay occupied with that and lots of pool time! Cannot wait until this week is over. May is almost over, then June is here! Cannot believe that! ...

Show and Tell Tuesday: School Photos

Happy Tuesday! Today I am joining Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday's and today we are showing Worst School Pictures! I have a combination of good and bad school pictures just to mix it up a little bit!  Little baby Cat right before Pre-K!  Back in 2005, I was in middle school and going through a short hair and converse phase where I wore a lot of black and tried to fit in with a certain group of people! Busy, Busy, and did I mention Busy!! :)

Life is getting busier and busier.  Valentine's Day is Saturday! YAY Hubby has to work in South Carolina that day though so I will only see him late at night :(  Then we have our daughters baptism on Sunday! Nervous about being in front of everyone at church,but so happy about the baptism and having The Lord come into our daughter. It is a very special day!  After that, Monday I have an ultrasound and a doctors appointment to check on our up and coming little one! I'm really really nervous about this appointment. I'll be really nervous the entire pregnacncy, what am I talking about haha. Then School, School, and oh did I mention School? Goodness. I have three papers due, all on the same day. On top of all my other weekly school work that I am already having to do. Yeah I'm gonna go missing for a little while.  Yuck!  Almost spring break and then I can go down to Florida and enjoy a week of happiness with my family....if we are still even doing that!
