Today I am jumping out of my comfort zone and trying something new! I'm linking up with Andrea over at momfessionals and doing Show and Tell Tuesday! Today we are doing introductions/resolutions for the year so here goes!
My name is Cortney but I go by Cat. I'm a 24 year old Mommy to two beautiful children, Charlotte an almost 2 year old girl and Riley our newest addition, he is 3 months old. I am married to a wonderful hardworking man named Scott who drives a truck. We have been married for almost three years now and I cannot wait for more years to come. I am also mom to an angel baby. Rebecca Lily is my angel baby, who I lost at 7 months pregnant in 2013. One of the hardest moments of my life, and I miss her everyday.
I am a graduate of Piedmont College with a B.A. in English and minor in History and am looking forward to going to grad school eventually to further my education.
This is my life as a mom of two under two and a wife!
It's 2016 and with a new year comes goals, things that want to be accomplished, and things to work towards throughout the year! Instead of calling my list a list of resolutions, I will call them goals. I want to accomplish what I can and not stress about things that I don't. I want to live a slower paced life this year, but with two kids under two that is not necessarily going to happen.
Here is my list of goals for the wonderful year of 2016:
Here's the Schedule!

This is me, with Riley when he was just over a month old!

I want to live a slower paced life this year, but with two kids under two that is not necessarily going to happen.
Here is my list of goals for the wonderful year of 2016:
- Organize and throw things out that are not necessary! Living in a two bedroom apartment with two kids means we are maxed out on space, and everything seems to be cluttering up! I want to declutter, organize and get rid of things that we just do not need!
- Be Better. I want to be a better mom to my kiddos, be a better wife to my wonderful hardworking husband, and a better blogger. I want to work at writing every day, and even linking up with other blogs this year. I'm very shy but love reading blogs so any link ups I accomplish means I will have accomplished a lot for myself.
- Lose the baby weight.
- Go to Grad School
- Buy a house. This is the year that we are planning on buying our first house so we can get the kids more space, their own bedrooms and a yard for the pup to run around in. We will eventually get to building our own house, but that is a goal for another year. :)
- Shower more. Any mom can understand this! I shower, don't get me wrong, but I want to shower more. Tell myself that even though I'm exhausted a shower will make me feel better and that it will help start my day off better, even if that means getting up before the kids get up. And yes that means after a night up with Riley if he chooses not to sleep haha :)
I plan to track my progress over the year and revisit these and do a summary of how far I have gotten throughout the year just to check in and keep them fresh in my mind!
Have a great Tuesday!
XOXO
Glad to stop by!
