Weekend Recap

Hey Ya'll! Long time no see! :)

It has been crazy since my last post with the Fourth of July weekend, and then Scott has had a crazy busy work schedule since then! Summer is fully underway with his job and he has been home not very much so I have been holding the fort down more and more!

This past weekend was busy but also fun! After a full week at Mimi's I loaded up in the car and we headed up to Athens to pick her up as well as finally get my wedding rings that have been in Boston getting fixed. Two diamonds on two different bands completely shattered after being cleaned one day and long story short but they finally got them back to me after replacing the settings with rings that fit my finger perfectly and two new diamonds to replace the ones that broke. They do not know what happened to them, but they fixed them and said if I have any problems obviously call and they will work on them again. I'm hoping no more problems occur but my jeweler has my back which I am grateful for!

After walking around and getting a little bit of our shop on we returned to Mimi's house to pick up the little's and then drove four hours back home, through a crazy torrential rain storm and finally all crashed when we got home. Riley then woke up screaming because of being overtired and I finally got him back to sleep, thankfully!

Sunday was very relaxed, we didn't leave the house except to go on two walks around the neighborhood and then the rain hit again so it was very rainy, wet, loud during the thunder and lightening! Overall it was a great weekend, just very busy so not too many pictures were taken!

We haven't seen rain in a week so this was a welcome site, even if it got crazy at one point!

This boy found a fun toy to play with while we waited to leave. I used all the wrapping paper for a gift for our neighbor who just turned three and he found the tube and started to play with it! Such a sweet boy despite having to get up super early to get in the car.

It feels so good to have my rings back on my hand.

We went to the park while we were out so I took some pictures of the water, because it is breathtaking!

There were a bunch of geese in the river, and they look like rocks in this picture

This sweet girl is finally home after a week away and it was fun going on two walks with her, even if the first one was in the middle of the day and it was super hot

This boy loves being close to Momma, so having him ride piggy back was the perfect solution. The stroller was not going to cut it with all the puddles from the rain.

Our neighborhood is absolutely beautiful! Especially after it has been raining all afternoon and the sun is peaking out around the clouds!
The perfect way to end our weekend!

I hope y'all have had a wonderful weekend and a great past few weeks! It's been super crazy and still is but I have my schedule laid out for blogging in my planner and will be blogging tomorrow for sure! Catch me back here for a link up with Andrea and Show and Tell Tuesday! It is home tours which I'm so excited about since we have now been in our new home almost three months!
Have a great Monday and see y'all back here tomorrow!

XOXO

Memorial Day catch up!

Happy Tuesday!  We survived Pre-K!  Char graduated last Thursday and her last day on Friday! She had such a fun year and learned so much and is very sad to be going to a different school next year, but she is also so excited as well! I just cannot believe I have a Kindergartener! Time flies when they are growing up! We had a super busy weekend with my sister coming into town to visit, so I'm catching up on laundry, and cleaning and getting into a summer routine with the kiddos! We are so excited for adventures this summer!  I will be back tomorrow with a weekend recap, but for now here is some photos from Char's graduation at her Pre-K! Have a great day everyone and thanks for stopping by!

Weekend Recap!

Happy Monday! I wont lie, today is a lot like my dish towel says: We had all the plans to go exploring and do something productive this weekend, but I only managed to clean the entire kitchen on Friday afternoon while the babies were napping! Here is a a bit of our weekend:  Friday morning started out with two monkeys jumping on the bed bright and early!  I love how they wake up so happy in the morning Riley got his 15 month shots on Thursday so I was fully expecting a grump and a half and got a very happy smiley baby boy instead!  We practiced blowing kisses We snuggled and we ran around with our backpack of toys Mommy did not unpack from the doctor's visit.  Saturday we spent lots of time snuggling on the couch, napping, and watching cartoons and just relaxing before hitting up the grocery store for a big trip. We got home late enough it was a sandwich for dinner kind of night.  Sunday we had plans to go out and ab...

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to all! It's been a wonderful family weekend! Unfortunately our Memorial Day ended early, since Scott is now headed to work. He has to be in Miami, 7 am tomorrow! Yuck. Luckily Monday is almost over and we only have to make it until Friday until we see him again! Trying to stay positive and look at it as a good thing, not a bad. It is hard to see him leave, but I know he has to go to work. Charlotte was sad but luckily nap time was soon after he left so she transitioned into sleep fine. She will be upset when she gets up in a few but lots of cuddles, cartoons and playing until bed time will keep her preoccupied. We are headed to the beach this weekend, and then staying down there for the week while Scott works, but we will all be together and Mommy and Charlotte will be looking at houses while Daddy works so we will stay occupied with that and lots of pool time! Cannot wait until this week is over. May is almost over, then June is here! Cannot believe that! ...
