Show and Tell Tuesday: Prom night!

Happy Tuesday!

Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, and today we are talking all about Prom!

Here are a few facts first before all the pictures of itty bitty high school me!

1) I dated the same boy from freshman year of high school until senior year of high school so he was my date for his junior and senior prom which was my sophomore year and junior year.
2) I went with my best friend my senior year. I had a good time, but missed my boyfriend pretty much the whole time.
3) I went all out for my first prom sophomore year, with my hair, nails and prom dress and then again my senior year.
4) I only participated in senior skip day, which really isn't a thing but seniors do it anyways at my high school, my senior year. My best friend and I met super early on the day of Prom for breakfast and coffee and then just spent the rest of the day together doing random things like shopping, then getting our nails done with one of our other friends, and then we had hair appointment, which honestly were overpriced and disappointing but still fun.
5) Prom was always Friday night for us
6) I also went to Prom my freshman year of college. I was dating a high school senior who was my best friend and he asked if I would go, so I went to one more prom.
7) We always went out to eat for dinner before Prom. I never ate that much but food was not provided, just punch and water so we always stoked up on food before dancing until our feet hurt.
8) My high school always rented out the Botanical Gardens for our Proms. We would reserve the space one Friday and our rival high school would get it another week, but Prom was always in the same place all four times I went and it was magical.
9)My most favorite of all my dresses would have to be the green dress I wore sophomore year! It had no back on it and just made me feel really pretty and I absolutely loved it!

Ready for awkward high school photos that were not that long ago for me but I still get slightly red looking at them?!

Junior me
And senior me

I miss this girl

We always had so much fun together!

And freshmen in college me. This guy was such a goof and definitely my best friend.

So there you have it all four of my proms! I had such a wonderful time in high school and being able to attend four different proms was a blast! Looking back at all the different memories is such fun!

Did you go to prom, or did you skip prom and go bowling with a bunch of friends? Did you eat dinner at Prom, or go out before? There are so many different ways for Prom to be celebrated how did you do it?

Memorial Day catch up!

Happy Tuesday!  We survived Pre-K!  Char graduated last Thursday and her last day on Friday! She had such a fun year and learned so much and is very sad to be going to a different school next year, but she is also so excited as well! I just cannot believe I have a Kindergartener! Time flies when they are growing up! We had a super busy weekend with my sister coming into town to visit, so I'm catching up on laundry, and cleaning and getting into a summer routine with the kiddos! We are so excited for adventures this summer!  I will be back tomorrow with a weekend recap, but for now here is some photos from Char's graduation at her Pre-K! Have a great day everyone and thanks for stopping by!

Weekend Recap!

Happy Monday! I wont lie, today is a lot like my dish towel says: We had all the plans to go exploring and do something productive this weekend, but I only managed to clean the entire kitchen on Friday afternoon while the babies were napping! Here is a a bit of our weekend:  Friday morning started out with two monkeys jumping on the bed bright and early!  I love how they wake up so happy in the morning Riley got his 15 month shots on Thursday so I was fully expecting a grump and a half and got a very happy smiley baby boy instead!  We practiced blowing kisses We snuggled and we ran around with our backpack of toys Mommy did not unpack from the doctor's visit.  Saturday we spent lots of time snuggling on the couch, napping, and watching cartoons and just relaxing before hitting up the grocery store for a big trip. We got home late enough it was a sandwich for dinner kind of night.  Sunday we had plans to go out and ab...

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to all! It's been a wonderful family weekend! Unfortunately our Memorial Day ended early, since Scott is now headed to work. He has to be in Miami, 7 am tomorrow! Yuck. Luckily Monday is almost over and we only have to make it until Friday until we see him again! Trying to stay positive and look at it as a good thing, not a bad. It is hard to see him leave, but I know he has to go to work. Charlotte was sad but luckily nap time was soon after he left so she transitioned into sleep fine. She will be upset when she gets up in a few but lots of cuddles, cartoons and playing until bed time will keep her preoccupied. We are headed to the beach this weekend, and then staying down there for the week while Scott works, but we will all be together and Mommy and Charlotte will be looking at houses while Daddy works so we will stay occupied with that and lots of pool time! Cannot wait until this week is over. May is almost over, then June is here! Cannot believe that! ...
