Lots of pictures and catching up to do!

There I go again, posting back in June and then skipping so many months because life is just so ridiculous these days!

Life seems to be slowly spinning out of control and this outlet has helped me through many difficult times in life, so here we go again on this blogging journey and hopefully can keep up with it a lot more. Yes, yes I know I have definitely said that before, but this time I am definitely working hard to produce more and get my butt in gear with a routine. Routines are hard when life is so hectic but honestly the babies need some better routine in life and this momma does to. So here we go!

Today I am just going to be sharing a ton of pictures so just grab a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy the ride!

We play outside a lot! The sandbox is a favorite with these two!

Holding hands everywhere they go! And holding mommas hand in all parking lots!

Grocery shopping can be hectic with these two but oh so fun when they are happy and driving the carts

She loves to help Mommy, especially when it comes to making green pancakes

My helpers, trying to teach them young

I worked a few weeks over the summer and while it was hard work, it was nice being with hubby and knowing the kids were in good hands

The sunsets are still just as perfect as before #blessed

We visited the Pirate House in Savannah and it was just too much fun!

She was very into character

See, outside + sand = all the time fun

running around and playing is their favorite thing to do

We did some major shopping and got a lot of groceries from Sam's, and other than having to make essentials runs for milk and eggs and toothpaste we haven't had to do a major haul since July

Playing in the sprinklers

and watching the biggest ship to make port in Savannah

and the rainbow that followed

Trying new recipes has been fun this summer and fall, and these red velvet cinnamon rolls did not disappoint

Looking at the fish

and eating lunch with lots of thoughts running through this little ones head

The view from our condo when we evacuated for Hurricane Irma

Walks with Mimi were the best

and these two surprisingly shared a bed well together

Walks with the double stroller

and watching the fish before shopping for Riley's 2nd birthday party

bounce houses and water slide fun

Birthday party success

You know it was a great weekend when you fall asleep in Daddy's arms

Two year doctor appointment

With my goofs

even though he is two he still wants momma to rock him some times, and I definitely will do it

We were in the pool a lot this summer and into August

and exploring the parks around our home

and you can't be a mom without the baby boy wanting momma while you are trying to do big sisters hair for the day

I have always loved exploring with my babies. They behave when it is just us and they love to get out into nature. Being able to live life with these two and be their momma is truly the best and my biggest blessing. I would not want any other life even though it has been a rough past couple weeks I am ready to just move forward and focus on these two innocent little lives that I am molding into adults. Here is to starting this blogging adventure again after taking some time off and to hugging my kids just a little bit tighter!
Thanks
and talk to y'all soon!

Weekend Recap!

Happy Monday! I wont lie, today is a lot like my dish towel says: We had all the plans to go exploring and do something productive this weekend, but I only managed to clean the entire kitchen on Friday afternoon while the babies were napping! Here is a a bit of our weekend:  Friday morning started out with two monkeys jumping on the bed bright and early!  I love how they wake up so happy in the morning Riley got his 15 month shots on Thursday so I was fully expecting a grump and a half and got a very happy smiley baby boy instead!  We practiced blowing kisses We snuggled and we ran around with our backpack of toys Mommy did not unpack from the doctor's visit.  Saturday we spent lots of time snuggling on the couch, napping, and watching cartoons and just relaxing before hitting up the grocery store for a big trip. We got home late enough it was a sandwich for dinner kind of night.  Sunday we had plans to go out and ab...

Weekend Recap on a Tuesday! :)

So I was trying to get this posted yesterday but the littles decided they wanted to test Mommy yesterday and not allow me to get anything done. By the time both kids were in bed for the night I was so tired I just went straight to bed instead of having some "me" time. This weekend started out running errands and going to the park! We haven't been to the park since August when I was put on bedrest! Our newest park member! She learned to climb the slide from her Aunt. She watched her climb up and just had to do it herself The park can be exhausting for little boys!  Scott got home late, late Friday night like 12:30 am and we went straight to bed because he had to be up and out the door for a class at 9 am. He was gone until 4:30 and as soon as he got home Charlotte would not leave his lap! Even with baby Riley sitting there. We watched football all day, and even late into the night, since Saturday is devoted to college football! The ...

Memorial Day catch up!

Happy Tuesday!  We survived Pre-K!  Char graduated last Thursday and her last day on Friday! She had such a fun year and learned so much and is very sad to be going to a different school next year, but she is also so excited as well! I just cannot believe I have a Kindergartener! Time flies when they are growing up! We had a super busy weekend with my sister coming into town to visit, so I'm catching up on laundry, and cleaning and getting into a summer routine with the kiddos! We are so excited for adventures this summer!  I will be back tomorrow with a weekend recap, but for now here is some photos from Char's graduation at her Pre-K! Have a great day everyone and thanks for stopping by!
