Year in Review 2019

Hey Ya'll!
Today I wanted to recap our year since I slacked on blogging!  Life was busy and we had a wonderful year and recapping our year is always fun to show what we have been up to.
So grab a cup of coffee or tea and let's go!

January

We started out our year making donuts with daddy from scratch

and running to the grocery store!
The kiddos never get to go in these buggies much anymore so they were super excited that they got to ride in one!

We had lots of doctor's visits for baby brother growing in my belly

and some of the most beautiful sunsets!

I started nesting like crazy and cleaning and preparing for baby boy's arrival a whole month before he arrived

and showed a day in our life in January as a pregnant stay at home mom with one in pre-k and one at home with me. You can read that post here

We celebrated 100 days at school and this girl had the best day celebrating and doing a lot of fun activities!

we also went to the coolest birthday party on the farm and these kids had a blast running around looking at all the different animals.
*yes i still use flowers or smiley faces to cover other children's faces for privacy reasons haha*

February
This is the month where everything gets crazy, but in a good way

We started our February off by grocery shopping, and daddy joined us since I was very pregnant and had to take it easy!

We had lots of days playing outside

and this girl lost her first tooth

we went to the park to play and I got this gem and posted on my Instagram that there would soon be three to adventure with!

I started putting the finishing touches on baby's bag and my bag for the hospital

and washed all of the bottles, and pacifiers and sanitized them!

Valentine's Day date with my sweet littles!

and this girl lost her second tooth the night before I left for the hospital!

4 am showered, dressed and ready to head to the hospital to have this baby! Last baby bump picture before he arrived!

February 17, 2019 this sweet boy entered our lives at 11:47 am weighing 8 lbs, 11 oz

all the snuggles happened at the hospital

and then there were three!

Big sister even held baby brother for the first time before getting ready for school, and she was super excited but nervous as well!

We spent the rest of February sleeping and snuggling and only leaving the house to take Char to Pre-k and home!

March

Snuggles after school started off our March!

This girl loved spirit week with rainbow mustaches

and even crazy hair!

and this girl fed baby brother for the first time! Can you tell she is excited?!

grocery shopping and breakfast with my favorite girl

and this girl turned 5!

so we celebrated by going to the playground after school

We went on a lot of walks

and celebrated our big girl with family when they came into town

This little turned 1 month old on St. Patrick's Day

we learned how to play hopscotch

and these two went on a weekend sleepover with Mimi

and went to the coolest new playground!

April
mornings started early, with toys and cereal before school

and you cannot do a year in review without recognizing the insane amount of laundry that I did this year :P

lots of playground days

and lots of naps and snuggles on the couch!
My big kids don't ever nap, but today they both fell asleep on momma and it was just the best moment

mom wanted a cute picture of all three of them

celebrating easter with an easter egg hunt with our besties right near school

working on smiles with this little

and getting ready for another easter egg hunt and pictures with the easter bunny

and at this stage of life, them all in a picture is  and sitting works for me

Easter Sunday attire

and taking first Easter pictures in the clover at Mimi's after driving all day

We spent Spring Break  up at Mimi's getting our teeth cleaned, playing at the playground, and going to the strawberry farm and picking three whole buckets of strawberries with Mimi

and this little bunny turned two months old!

May

The beginning of May is always a very hard time of the year for me. Losing my baby girl in 2013 was devastating and still hurts to this day, but remembering her with flowers and with her siblings is all I can do until I get to see her one day in Heaven.

Fairy and Gnome festival with my two oldest while baby was with daddy! We didn't get to go last year so I made it a important thing to do with just them

looking for fairy houses in the woods

and exploring the little nooks and crannies for all the fun stuff that was there to do

we went to a birthday party to celebrate a friend turning one!

and this little slept most of the time, except right when he needed to eat :)

We had our first field day and she was super excited and competitive just like her momma

we went to more birthday parties, and more play grounds

and broke out the pool for the summer

and this little got to stick his toes in the water!

We took the kids to a little festival

and this little enjoyed hanging out with daddy the whole time!

and these two were both tall enough to ride their first roller coaster, which they loved so much they rode it about 4 times :)

Sweet Char finished Pre-K and while they did not call it a graduation, she had an awards ceremony and refreshments in her classroom so this mom is calling it graduation!

Class of 2032, and it made it even more real that she is in school
so cue the momma tears while taking this picture

Last day of Pre-K and onto Kindergarten and I snapped a picture while we were parked and waiting for her to go in for her last day of school! Riley was home with daddy getting some one-on-one time with him, hence why he is missing from the photo

For our first weekend out of school we went to the beach with our favorite Aunt Kayli

and this little got to feel the ocean for the first time, even though we live 30 minutes away from it

and we spent all of our time either in the pool/slip and slide at home

or swimming at our neighborhood pool with our friends

chilling with momma was his favorite thing to do!

Going to the pool was difficult and we only went a couple times with friends, since I refuse to take them by myself, and I also only snapped that photo of them in because someone was in with them, and then my phone went right into my purse and stayed there, so there aren't many neighborhood pool pictures!

June

We worked on tummy time and raising our head up to start our June off

and this boy is absolutely smitten by his big sister

you can't have two boys without matching them

and of course once the boys are on the floor taking a picture you have to get a picture with big sister! I still just can't believe I have three children!

We sat on the porch and watched the most spectacular sunsets

I celebrated 6 years with my sweet husband, and while the older two kiddos were with Mimi

we went to lunch and shopping with our littlest munchkin and just enjoyed spending time together!

I drew in chalk and put all of the kiddos as the "I" to make the cutest cards for my sweet husband on Father's Day

and they helped daddy make breakfast and cookies, since that is all he wanted to do!
I made him dinner though :P

Doctor's Check-up for the littlest and cute pictures of all of my littles because I just can't resist

Mimi and Grandpa came down to visit so we took them to our favorite little nature center area right down the road from our house

this little napped during our explorations

and they had the best time!

Smiles from this boy always make my day!

and we went to the beach with daddy with just the boys and mom

because big sister was off adventuring with her Aunt Kayli

June was jam packed full of outdoor fun and goodness was the first 6 months of the year busy!
Introducing a new little into the world is always such a blessing and I'm so excited to see what we get into this year with three littles!

So since the first 6 months are so jam-packed I am going to stop here and do July-December in another post later this week!
Thanks for stopping by to check out the fun we have been having!

See y'all back here Thursday for Part 2!

Memorial Day catch up!

Happy Tuesday!  We survived Pre-K!  Char graduated last Thursday and her last day on Friday! She had such a fun year and learned so much and is very sad to be going to a different school next year, but she is also so excited as well! I just cannot believe I have a Kindergartener! Time flies when they are growing up! We had a super busy weekend with my sister coming into town to visit, so I'm catching up on laundry, and cleaning and getting into a summer routine with the kiddos! We are so excited for adventures this summer!  I will be back tomorrow with a weekend recap, but for now here is some photos from Char's graduation at her Pre-K! Have a great day everyone and thanks for stopping by!

Weekend Recap!

Happy Monday! I wont lie, today is a lot like my dish towel says: We had all the plans to go exploring and do something productive this weekend, but I only managed to clean the entire kitchen on Friday afternoon while the babies were napping! Here is a a bit of our weekend:  Friday morning started out with two monkeys jumping on the bed bright and early!  I love how they wake up so happy in the morning Riley got his 15 month shots on Thursday so I was fully expecting a grump and a half and got a very happy smiley baby boy instead!  We practiced blowing kisses We snuggled and we ran around with our backpack of toys Mommy did not unpack from the doctor's visit.  Saturday we spent lots of time snuggling on the couch, napping, and watching cartoons and just relaxing before hitting up the grocery store for a big trip. We got home late enough it was a sandwich for dinner kind of night.  Sunday we had plans to go out and ab...

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to all! It's been a wonderful family weekend! Unfortunately our Memorial Day ended early, since Scott is now headed to work. He has to be in Miami, 7 am tomorrow! Yuck. Luckily Monday is almost over and we only have to make it until Friday until we see him again! Trying to stay positive and look at it as a good thing, not a bad. It is hard to see him leave, but I know he has to go to work. Charlotte was sad but luckily nap time was soon after he left so she transitioned into sleep fine. She will be upset when she gets up in a few but lots of cuddles, cartoons and playing until bed time will keep her preoccupied. We are headed to the beach this weekend, and then staying down there for the week while Scott works, but we will all be together and Mommy and Charlotte will be looking at houses while Daddy works so we will stay occupied with that and lots of pool time! Cannot wait until this week is over. May is almost over, then June is here! Cannot believe that! ...
