Not as good a day as yesterday

Today was a battle with little one. She wasn't feeling good or something because she was very very grumpy! She napped for an hour and now she is sleeping but I had to actually call my husband in order to get her to quiet down. She is such a Daddy's girl that I knew his voice would calm her down. Cannot wait for him to be home tomorrow! I know she is absolutely going to love it! I am too :) It will be nice to have his arms around me for a few days before he goes back on the road!

Today I was out of it completely. Didn't get much housework done but I'll get everything done tomorrow before hubby comes home! Not sure why. Maybe its because its Thursday, but its most likely because I miss my husband. I miss his hand in mine, him playing with Charlotte, him just being around to comfort me. I miss him so much right now. :(

Absolutely exhausted. Tomorrow I'm hoping Charlotte has a better day and we can get stuff done. Maybe we will go for a walk to burn some energy or something!

Show and Tell Tuesday: Prom night!

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, and today we are talking all about Prom! Here are a few facts first before all the pictures of itty bitty high school me! 1) I dated the same boy from freshman year of high school until senior year of high school so he was my date for his junior and senior prom which was my sophomore year and junior year. 2) I went with my best friend my senior year. I had a good time, but missed my boyfriend pretty much the whole time. 3) I went all out for my first prom sophomore year, with my hair, nails and prom dress and then again my senior year. 4) I only participated in senior skip day, which really isn't a thing but seniors do it anyways at my high school, my senior year. In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart! Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! 2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello! It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!
