Busy week leads to relaxing weekend!

Its been a crazy sleepless week in the Wicks household.  Charlotte somehow ended up really sick the day we got to Florida so mommy didn't get much sleep the first few days but other than that it was a somewhat enjoyable trip. Scott was super stressed about the job and about Charlotte being sick but he got the job done and we got to go to the beach twice. Once to a place he wanted to go and find because he heard about it from the hotel people and the second we accidentally ran into while driving around. They were both beautiful and even though it was hot it was a great time spending the afternoon with the family, all three of us together! Charlotte rode her first swing, and her first slide, played X's and O's with daddy and even got to see a horseshoe crab in the grass that had been killed, poor thing. We got back home Friday around 6, it would have been earlier if we hadn't of blown a tire. But we got home, got ready for Halloween and took off to Mimi's house for Charlotte's gift Mimi got her. Then Scott and I left and went to the parade downtown with my best friend Jenni, who we haven't seen in a long time! We missed her a lot!
Saturday we watched some football, made some chili, but otherwise stayed indoors because it is soooo cold now. With Charlotte's runny nose and cough we didn't take her out much so she couldn't get pneumonia or anything.
Today we went to church, Charlotte went to Mimi's for a few hours while I took a very very stressful test. Then we picked up Charlotte, and I did another assignment while Scott played with Charlotte. Now we are watching a movie while baby sleeps in her swing so she can breathe easier.

Laid back weekend. Busy Busy Monday tomorrow, Charlotte is going to the doctor, Scott is going to the doctor and Mommy is cleaning the house and doing a week worths of laundry!
Goodnight
XOXO

Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
