First play date

Charlotte had her first ever play date today!

Scott had to pick up a truck from a coworker who lives two hours away from us and so the two babies, Brody who is 14 months and Charlotte who is 8 months were introduced. They first started out jealous of each other and did not share well, but after a few minutes they got along pretty easily and played well  together! It was such a blast seeing the two interact with each other!

Update since my last post:
Florida was a blast. We went to the beach twice and it was absolutely beautiful! I love the gulf side of Florida, the water is so crystal clear and beautiful and Charlotte is such a beach baby and absolutely loves water! She couldn't stop staring at it. We came back on Halloween, which was Charlotte's first ever halloween, and it was fun dressing up and taking her to Mimi's! Daddy and I went downtown with my best friend Jenni and went to the parade and then went to dinner afterwards! It was weird being without baby but it was nice to have a break too, and Mimi missed her a lot after not seeing her for a week.

We went to church Sunday and then the doctor Monday to get Charlotte some antibiotics since she has a sinus infection. She has some medicine for 10 days hoping it will clear her up, and so far you can tell she feels so much better so we will see. This is her first ever sickness! She is 8 months old and has never gotten sick until now! But the medicine seems to be working. Charlotte didn't really lead onto being sick until she couldn't breathe while sleeping. Then we knew something was up! Sh was bright and playful and bubbly and just cranky when tired. She slept in a stroller for a week since we were out of town, and then in her swing over the weekend. After a full day of antibiotics she is back in her crib, and sleeping like a champ!

Charlotte has been bathed, had a bottle and is in bed finally! Hopefully she falls asleep soon! :)

It's been a good day! Time to relax, watch Scott play some video games and eventually fall asleep!

XOXO

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...

Weekend Recap!

Happy Monday! I wont lie, today is a lot like my dish towel says: We had all the plans to go exploring and do something productive this weekend, but I only managed to clean the entire kitchen on Friday afternoon while the babies were napping! Here is a a bit of our weekend:  Friday morning started out with two monkeys jumping on the bed bright and early!  I love how they wake up so happy in the morning Riley got his 15 month shots on Thursday so I was fully expecting a grump and a half and got a very happy smiley baby boy instead!  We practiced blowing kisses We snuggled and we ran around with our backpack of toys Mommy did not unpack from the doctor's visit.  Saturday we spent lots of time snuggling on the couch, napping, and watching cartoons and just relaxing before hitting up the grocery store for a big trip. We got home late enough it was a sandwich for dinner kind of night.  Sunday we had plans to go out and ab...

Weekend Recap on a Tuesday! :)

So I was trying to get this posted yesterday but the littles decided they wanted to test Mommy yesterday and not allow me to get anything done. By the time both kids were in bed for the night I was so tired I just went straight to bed instead of having some "me" time. This weekend started out running errands and going to the park! We haven't been to the park since August when I was put on bedrest! Our newest park member! She learned to climb the slide from her Aunt. She watched her climb up and just had to do it herself The park can be exhausting for little boys!  Scott got home late, late Friday night like 12:30 am and we went straight to bed because he had to be up and out the door for a class at 9 am. He was gone until 4:30 and as soon as he got home Charlotte would not leave his lap! Even with baby Riley sitting there. We watched football all day, and even late into the night, since Saturday is devoted to college football! The ...
