Happy Thanksgiving!

Scott unloaded a customer in Virginia yesterday. It snowed, it was a 9 hour drive and on his way back the truck broke down. Not something you want to have happen the day before Thanksgiving. At about 1 am I took off for a three hour drive up to North Carolina to go pick him up so we could get home for Thanksgiving lunch at my grandmother's. We didn't get back until 6 am this morning but we are all together and we are all safe!

I am so thankful for my husband and beautiful daughter, my family and friends, my health and everyone's health and especially being able to continue going through the hard and difficult times. I am thankful for all the truckers out there, especially the ones that cannot get home to their families today because they are getting things moved for everyone! I'm thankful for our troops as well for defending our country and making home safe for us. I am very thankful this year, and I'm very blessed to have everything I do.

Time to get everything ready for our hour drive. We are both exhausted but hanging in there. I have to drive Scott down to work tonight since his truck is in the shop in North Carolina now. Please pray for our safety. It's going to be a long day!

Some much needed family fun!

It's been a bit hectic the last few days! We got up and went to church Sunday morning for the first time at a new church. The pastor was so funny and made a new church less scary for me! Then Charlotte went to Mimi's for a few hours and Scott and I ran a few errands, cleaned out the truck, and went to the pool hall to play a few rounds before going to get her. I don't know what it is about the pool hall but it always is a place we enjoy going, without baby of course! After we picked Charlotte up, we went home and relaxed for a few hours and watched tv and played COD:ghosts!( Another one of our couple things) Then I packed a bag for Charlotte, did Scott's laundry, and cleaned up the house. Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to all! It's been a wonderful family weekend! Unfortunately our Memorial Day ended early, since Scott is now headed to work. He has to be in Miami, 7 am tomorrow! Yuck. Luckily Monday is almost over and we only have to make it until Friday until we see him again! Trying to stay positive and look at it as a good thing, not a bad. It is hard to see him leave, but I know he has to go to work. Charlotte was sad but luckily nap time was soon after he left so she transitioned into sleep fine. She will be upset when she gets up in a few but lots of cuddles, cartoons and playing until bed time will keep her preoccupied. We are headed to the beach this weekend, and then staying down there for the week while Scott works, but we will all be together and Mommy and Charlotte will be looking at houses while Daddy works so we will stay occupied with that and lots of pool time! Weekend Recap!

Happy Monday Ya'll!  I don't know about ya'll but daylight savings is completely throwing me off! With it being daylight at 7:30 last night to it being pitch black taking Char to school this morning my body clock is off, but only a little since I am up at all hours with a new baby!  Three weeks ago we welcomed our newest little, and even though I am exhausted I am enjoying the cuddles and snuggles from our newest little guy! We are slowly getting into a routine, and the oldest two are still enjoying little Skyler still so that is always a positive sign! I for sure though Ri was going to lose it because he doesn't have mommy all to himself, but all the messes and cartoons are helping him through it! Plus I am starting to be able to spend some time with Ri once Skyler has eaten and can be put down! This weekend was a good one!
