Cold and stress, not a good combination

It was way too cold today! We are down  with Scott again for a few days since I had to bring him down here. His truck is back in the shop and our original truck was brought back down from Charlotte NC, so we drove down Tuesday night and have been here since. I go back up on Saturday morning while Scott goes to a job and then he comes home for two days before heading up north. School work is hectic, baby is doing good, but has four new teeth! No wonder she has been so grumpy and clingy, she has been in some serious pain! Poor baby!

Today we stayed inside all day! It is way too cold for baby to be out and about! I'm just glad we aren't back at home where its about 20 degrees colder than down here. It would be insane! We took Scott to the doctor after meeting some friends for dinner! He had his elbow drained again (when I say again, this is the third time). He fell off the back of the truck back in August and got pretty bruised and scratched up. Everything seemed to be healing normally until his elbow swelled up like a balloon. And when I mean balloon, I mean like huge and disgusting and weird feeling. Well he got it drained one day and they got it to go back to normal but the next day it was back to looking like normal. So two weeks later, he got it drained again. This time there was less fluid so we thought, okay maybe its getting better. This time they wrapped it after it was drained and it seemed to be doing great until 5 days later it was starting to swell again. The wrap wouldn't stay on at this point. Well, we went home for the holidays and tried not to worry too much about it. Well tonight after much waiting and much pain for my poor honey, we took him back. This time, it was drained as usual, but they pulled out more fluid than both the times before. YUCK! So now he might have to have it removed, we have to go see an orthopedic doctor and blah blah blah blah. At this point it is getting ridiculous and Scott just really wants his elbow back, and I don't blame him one bit. It's been a hectic few months since this process started, and at this point we are so ready for it to be done. Hopefully soon everything will get better!

On another note, School is being a total pain about one of my classes. I'm enrolled in five classes, with only four of them the first eight weeks, and then another one replacing Sociology for the last eight weeks. Two of my classes are online, and two are at school. One of my classes is not even showing up for me online, which is odd because my other one is perfectly fine and working. I've talked with my professor, I've talked with the online administrator, and tomorrow I am actually calling the IT department and saying hey, what's up. It's been a frustrating few days and I'm already behind because they aren't fixing this problem. Anyways: Rant over haha.
We got Charlotte a babysitter. It was amazing, I was so stressed Monday after classes because it is my final semester of college and two of my classes I have to attend, and Charlotte's normal babysitter cannot watch her anymore so we had to get someone else. I filled out a job posting on a website and no sooner than I shut my laptop off for the night I had three replies. It was amazing! The next morning I emailed one of the candidates back and said let's meet at a coffee shop so you can interact with Charlotte, because if Charlotte doesn't like you then you aren't going to work out haha. (the second part I definitely did not email to her but with my little one, she lets you know if she likes you or not!) Anyways, so we met this girl and Charlotte loves her so we are starting next week to see how she does! I'm nervous but happy because that takes a lot of stress off of my plate!

Off to do some more homework before turning in for the night. Gotta get munchkin to bed!
Hope everyone had a great day today!

XOXO

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...
