Weekend Recap and exciting news!

I cannot believe how incredibly busy this weekend was! And it isn't slowing down anytime soon.

I didn't make it to class on Friday because Charlotte woke up with a fever of 100.4 Friday at 5 am so we went straight to the doctor that morning. Luckily it is nothing major, just a cold. Buttttt now I have a cold too haha!

Poor baby was not happy at all on Friday. I put a long sleeve shirt on her before going out into the awfully cold weather but while we were at the house she was perfectly content in as little clothing as possible. That face just makes me cry :( EEK.

After the doctor she took a short nap and then ate some lunch, then we played, played and played some more with all of her toys thrown all over the floor. Even though the girl is sick and doesn't feel good she can still play hard haha. About 5 pm she crashed, and it was the most adorable way she has crashed in a while.
How can you not just smile at this? It's adorable and makes my heart melt :)
The weekend was jam packed with lots of stuff. We are packing up our apartment so that we can move in April. Yes, I know April is a long ways away, but with me being in school and having to plan a baptism for Charlotte in two weeks, and her birthday party in a month its getting pretty busy. Soooo I'm doing little things here and there like books, trophies, and other small knick knacks that we won't miss for a few months!

Saturday Scott got home very late. Like I was about to put Charlotte to bed and he walked through the door. It was so good to see him after he was at work for a week. He played with Charlotte for a few then it was her bed time so she went to bed and we played video games and watched tv so he could wind down before bed.

Jump back to Thursday where we have some very exciting news to share! We are soon to be a family of four! Yep, that is right, This momma is pregnant. We are guessing about a month pregnant but will not find out until two more weeks. Oh the suspense! I'm excited but nervous! Since losing Rebecca, pregnancies are always a bit tense for me, but luckily Scott knows how to get me to relax and focus on the positive not the negative. And Charlotte is healthy and beautiful and now she is going to be a big sister! Can't wait.( Well, I can haha, this little one needs to grow healthy and strong for 9 months and then we can be a big happy family of 4)! Two littles under two! Oh boy!
Little Wicks coming soon!

Excuse the awful face, I have a bit of a cold since my little one got my sick as well.

I hope everyone had a great weekend! We got some much needed housework and paperwork done so that even though today was crazy busy with us being up at 6 am to finish paperwork and taxes, and get everything ready for me to go to school and Scott to go to work I am now sitting down writing this out feeling accomplished! It's a great feeling getting stuff done! For once I feel like things are okay! Not saying that I don't always think things are okay, it just got a bit stressful last month haha! Welcome to life though right!

Here are some random pictures to make you smile, laugh or just plain feel good! Whatever you need for your Monday night!

Daddy brings home all of his change and puts it into a cup!

And Charlotte plays with it.. (much to Mommy's dislike)
Germs are icky! But hey whatever makes the little one happy right! And luckily a wipe soon followed this play session with daddy and no germs or coins went into the mouth!

I gave her a bottle to drink while I ran to shower and I came back to her sleeping. This is the most precious moment I have captured of her in a long time! Melt your heart moment!

Happy Monday from Charlotte and I! :)

Hope everyone had a great weekend and an even better Monday! (Even though Mondays are rough)

XOXO

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to all! It's been a wonderful family weekend! Unfortunately our Memorial Day ended early, since Scott is now headed to work. He has to be in Miami, 7 am tomorrow! Yuck. Luckily Monday is almost over and we only have to make it until Friday until we see him again! Trying to stay positive and look at it as a good thing, not a bad. It is hard to see him leave, but I know he has to go to work. Charlotte was sad but luckily nap time was soon after he left so she transitioned into sleep fine. She will be upset when she gets up in a few but lots of cuddles, cartoons and playing until bed time will keep her preoccupied. We are headed to the beach this weekend, and then staying down there for the week while Scott works, but we will all be together and Mommy and Charlotte will be looking at houses while Daddy works so we will stay occupied with that and lots of pool time! Cannot wait until this week is over. May is almost over, then June is here! Cannot believe that! ...

Show and Tell Tuesday: School Photos

Happy Tuesday! Today I am joining Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday's and today we are showing Worst School Pictures! I have a combination of good and bad school pictures just to mix it up a little bit!  Little baby Cat right before Pre-K!  Back in 2005, I was in middle school and going through a short hair and converse phase where I wore a lot of black and tried to fit in with a certain group of people! I was such a goof And Throwing it back to 2004! Aren't I just cute?!  Senior Year of High School  Senior Year pictures! I had ridiculously long hair that didn't like to cooperate for pictures! Then I chopped all of my hair off before going off to college Kept it short second year of college And finally grew it out and even colored it, I was in a rebellious stage it seemed! Those are my worst and best school pictures! I don't have too many pictures from my school days just because everything was thrown away when I lef...

Life Lately!

Happy Monday! Its a little life lately post to catch up on our past week! I started back to school for my Masters, Scott started his senior year of undergrad and life has gone crazy!  This little is working on sitting up, and finding all of his toys that he didn't know he had until he became mobile. He isn't crawling but he is really good at rolling himself around the place!  With sister in school all day these two are becoming best friends! I'll catch Skyler pulling R's hair, but I will also catch them laughing and playing and reading together! It's the sweetest little bond!  He enjoyed rolling himself underneath his crib a lot, all while I was sitting in the room with him! He loves to explore, even when it means momma has to rescue him from under the bed :P Afternoon cartons, goldfish and playing with toys We have been reading lots of books lately, we are going to the library this week to get some books but Ri has enjoyed reading wha...
