Happy Memorial Day to all! It's been a wonderful family weekend! Unfortunately our Memorial Day ended early, since Scott is now headed to work. He has to be in Miami, 7 am tomorrow! Yuck. Luckily Monday is almost over and we only have to make it until Friday until we see him again! Trying to stay positive and look at it as a good thing, not a bad. It is hard to see him leave, but I know he has to go to work. Charlotte was sad but luckily nap time was soon after he left so she transitioned into sleep fine. She will be upset when she gets up in a few but lots of cuddles, cartoons and playing until bed time will keep her preoccupied. We are headed to the beach this weekend, and then staying down there for the week while Scott works, but we will all be together and Mommy and Charlotte will be looking at houses while Daddy works so we will stay occupied with that and lots of pool time! Cannot wait until this week is over. May is almost over, then June is here! Cannot believe that!

Charlotte and I packed up and took off for a weekend away with Daddy. While he was working, we still got to enjoy quality time with Daddy! We left Friday early early early, like 12 am early, and took off for Virginia. After a long drive, and a long day we finally settled into dinner at Golden Corral and got some much needed sleep! The next morning came really early, but only because we wanted to beat the rush to the beach. We saw the sun come up on the beach, drank coffee, ate amazing omelets, and very very good fruit, and strolled and walked around enjoying the ocean. We left around 9 to head to Maryland, because Scott had another job he needed to do, so it was an early trip and a short trip to one of our favorite places. Charlotte loved the sand, even though it was really cold at first! We got done in Maryland, after Charlotte's first throw up incident. Poor girl. Then we headed to NC to sleep for the night. Last time I blogged it was February, I was in the middle of midterms and everything was crazy busy. After Spring Break we had Charlotte's first birthday party and then school kind of just took off from there. Things got crazier and crazier and I was trying to just keep up with everything so unfortunately I disappeared from the blogging world. School is finally over and I can now say I am a college graduate. It was scary for a minute there, but I did it and walked across the stage and recieved my degree. YAY YAY YAY! Now it is summer time and this pregnant momma is needing the pool, or even the bath tub to keep cool. I feel like even with air conditioning I am uncomfortable, and I am only 5 months along. Goodness it's going to be a long summer! But I'm excited for the beach and road trips and time with family and friends. We are looking at houses and will be buying our first home in the next couple of months, and then everything will get hectic with the arrival of baby #2. W
