Last minute road trip!

Charlotte and I packed up and took off for a weekend away with Daddy. While he was working, we still got to enjoy quality time with Daddy! We left Friday early early early, like 12 am early, and took off for Virginia. After a long drive, and a long day we finally settled into dinner at Golden Corral and got some much needed sleep! The next morning came really early, but only because we wanted to beat the rush to the beach. We saw the sun come up on the beach, drank coffee, ate amazing omelets, and very very good fruit, and strolled and walked around enjoying the ocean. We left around 9 to head to Maryland, because Scott had another job he needed to do, so it was an early trip and a short trip to one of our favorite places. Charlotte loved the sand, even though it was really cold at first! We got done in Maryland, after Charlotte's first throw up incident. Poor girl. Then we headed to NC to sleep for the night. On our day drive home we stopped in Kenly, at Truck stop road, where there is a cool truck stop with one of the largest chrome shops on the East Coast. We weren't there for chrome haha, we went for some breakfast and some shopping and to show Charlotte what a cool place it was. Then we kept driving and visited a place called South of the Border! Scott and I visited there two years ago after we got married and told ourselves this was a spot we would definitely be returning with kids. It was fun,but super super hot so this pregnant mommy was tired, but luckily I sun screened our little one up and we got to sit and eat a yummy dinner in the ac to escape the heat for a while. After South of the Border it was straight home, 5 hours. We had made an appointment for a viewing a house at 10:30 Monday morning, and then we had an ultrasound to see our little one. It was a busy Monday, and I ended up basically ruining it because I threw an awful awful tantrum, and then Scott had to leave for work. Really awful timing on my part. I feel really bad about my tantrum and how awful i behaved because that is not who I am, and it wasn't fair to Scott or even Charlotte to act the way I did. I have a lot of apologizing to do to Scott, and it sucks because he is once again down in Savannah for work, while I'm stuck up at home. Oh well. Lots of apologizing over the phone, text messages, and eventually in person once he gets home or we head to Savannah for Memorial day weekend! It's been hectic and crazy but it's been an adventure.

Here are some fun pictures showing the adventures, and even misadventure of the throwing up. Oh and to add to that, she threw up Sunday night as well, when we were about 2 hours from home. Someone was tired of riding and had just had enough! But we also think she had a case of food poisoning, because she is much much much better now!

5 am selfie with the munchkin!

Love my family!

She felt much much better after getting s

Someone got a new car seat because she puked all over herself, the car, and everything in her path. It was awful, smelled awful and needed to be resolved fast.

These two are such goofs!

Pink or blue? We reveal whether Baby #2 is a little brother or little sister in June!

A little background on this picture, Scott and I visited this beach two years ago after we got married. and took the picture on the left. Now two years later and with little miss Charlotte in tow, we took another ring picture that was in the same spot that we took the original photo, but with Charlotte in it as well. We went down memory lane.
Have a happy Wednesday!
XOXO

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
