Baby Wicks #2- little brother or little sister?

I told myself I would do this post last week, but seeing as we have been away from home and are still away from home I've just now gotten around to writing this post!

On Sunday June 14th we hosted a gender reveal. It wasn't a huge party and seeing as four people cancelled the morning of, it only lasted an hour and was just my mom and dad and my sister and her boyfriend. I love that it was just family! Small and simple! Just the way I like it. Charlotte ran around with Mimi since we have been away from home, she doesn't see her very often
We drove back from Nashville, got back an hour before the party and threw it all together. I was still setting up when everyone arrived but seeing as it is family they didn't care! They were just happy to finally be finding out the secret. I didn't take many pictures and those I did take were not that good but here they are!

                      Little brother?

                        Or little sister?

                   What will it bee??

For having only 30 minutes to get everything together, I think it turned out pretty well!
Charlotte walked out of our bedroom with a balloon saying what baby #2 was but I didn't get a picture of that unfortunately. Then we cut the cake and posted a video on Facebook in order to tell everyone else what our little one is!

Baby Wicks #2 is.......

After nearly two weeks of having to keep a secret, we are having a baby boy! Our little family is so blessed to be able to add a little guy to the family and even out the numbers! Daddy has his little girl and momma gets her little boy! We are super excited 😃😃
Charlotte already loves her brother so much! She says baby and kisses my tummy! It's the sweetest!
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

XOXO

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
