Crazy hectic two weeks of family fun!

The week down at the beach was definitely much needed and great! Charlotte and I enjoyed the pool, shopping and relaxing and just having fun away from home! Then we drove home, not expecting to go anywhere for a week when in fact that Monday Charlotte and I drove back down to pick Scott up and we took a family road trip out to Kansas to pick up a truck for Scott. Then we drove all the way home to have a gender reveal party. Then Scott had to return to work. It's been a crazy busy hectic couple of weeks but for now, Charlotte and I are celebrating being home by relaxing! Yesterday was crazy busy full of errands but today we are relaxing and maybe going the pool later!

Some much needed family fun!

It's been a bit hectic the last few days! We got up and went to church Sunday morning for the first time at a new church. The pastor was so funny and made a new church less scary for me! Then Charlotte went to Mimi's for a few hours and Scott and I ran a few errands, cleaned out the truck, and went to the pool hall to play a few rounds before going to get her. I don't know what it is about the pool hall but it always is a place we enjoy going, without baby of course! After we picked Charlotte up, we went home and relaxed for a few hours and watched tv and played COD:ghosts!( Another one of our couple things) Then I packed a bag for Charlotte, did Scott's laundry, and cleaned up the house. Finally I packed my bag. Why am I packing bags and cleaning up the house you ask? Well, Charlotte and I are with Scott this week going to Florida. Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to all! It's been a wonderful family weekend! Unfortunately our Memorial Day ended early, since Scott is now headed to work. He has to be in Miami, 7 am tomorrow! Yuck. Luckily Monday is almost over and we only have to make it until Friday until we see him again! Trying to stay positive and look at it as a good thing, not a bad. It is hard to see him leave, but I know he has to go to work. Charlotte was sad but luckily nap time was soon after he left so she transitioned into sleep fine. She will be upset when she gets up in a few but lots of cuddles, cartoons and playing until bed time will keep her preoccupied. We are headed to the beach this weekend, and then staying down there for the week while Scott works, but we will all be together and Mommy and Charlotte will be looking at houses while Daddy works so we will stay occupied with that and lots of pool time! Cannot wait until this week is over. May is almost over, then June is here! Cannot believe that!

Weekend Recap: This Weekend Edition

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a good Monday! We certainly did! We did not run around like crazy people and got Charlotte's big birthday gift from Momma and Daddy yesterday so all is on track for our princess turning 3 on Sunday! This past weekend started out slow with playing with all of our toys and stuffed animals and taking lots of naps on the momma Saturday was spent cleaning, taking out the garbage to the dump and buying groceries. So Saturday we spent just getting ready for the week and taking care of everything we needed to get done for a busy week that we are currently in. We also took one more day of rest to recuperate from the stomach bug and allergies that made the rounds through our house. Sunday we got out of the house because it was not too hot and not too chilly and it wasn't raining so it was the perfect day to go to the flea market.
