So much to update about

Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow!

How many times can I say wow! haha

I am awful at keeping up with this blog. With getting Charlotte to swim lessons, me to my doctor's appointments and seeing Scott for all of one weekend (July 4th) and a few hours the rest of the month, July flew by!

There is so much to catch up on!
Let's see:

  • Charlotte and my mom did Adult/Child swim lessons at our local YMCA, where my sister just so happens to work, twice a week for thirty minutes each day! Charlotte absolutely loves the water, pretty sure she is secretly a mermaid! :) Mom enjoyed spending a little extra time with Char bear and I enjoyed having the break!

  • This heat has been absolutely awful for my pregnancy! Summer and pregnancy definitely do not go together! I went to the hospital Monday afternoon, praying I was not in preterm labor, and thank goodness I  am not, just severely dehydrated, have low iron and potassium levels in my blood, and I'm having blood pressure problems. So on moderate bed rest, basically can chase my toddler around but no shopping, being on my feet for too long, or anything crazy! My dizzy spells come and go, my contractions come and go, but so far with the supplements I am taking I'm doing better. Scott stayed home Monday despite having three jobs to do, and it has pushed him back a day. While that definitely sucks, I'm glad that he stayed to make sure me and Baby boy are okay.
  • The month of August is not as jam packed as July was. Charlotte and I spent the first week and a half of August down with daddy, we got some beach time, our shopping on, we got pool time almost every day, and mostly we got to relax and see Scott. It was nice! Charlotte's godmother and godfather came down the last weekend we were down there, so last weekend and we went to the beach and we explored our soon to be home. Yes, we are all moving to the same city, in February so that we are closer and so that Scott and Charlotte's godfather can start working together.
  • There is an awful cold or something currently circulating through our family. Not sure if we picked it up at the hospital Monday, if it happened over the weekend, or if we are allergic to the pup we got on Sunday. We added one more to our family Sunday when we bought a 7 week old English bulldog puppy at the flea market. He is quite the handful for this momma, but soon my hands will be full with a newborn and by then he will have calmed down. We named him Oliver and just as soon as I get him to stop biting we will be good!
I'm officially 8 months pregnant as of yesterday! Soon baby boy will be here, and things will get crazy busy but in a good way! I cannot wait for our new addition to get here, well I can haha, don't want him to come too early, but I'm definitely excited about his arrival. Hopefully my health holds up long enough for him to mature some more and we don't have our boy too early, but we will take what we get and roll with it, one day at a time as Scott says. Here's to staying positive, healthy and happy!
And hopefully updating this page as much as possible, granted with as much as I'm about to have going on, its gonna be difficult! Hope everyone has a fabulous Saturday!

XOXO

Show and Tell Tuesday: Prom night!

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, and today we are talking all about Prom! Here are a few facts first before all the pictures of itty bitty high school me! 1) I dated the same boy from freshman year of high school until senior year of high school so he was my date for his junior and senior prom which was my sophomore year and junior year. 2) I went with my best friend my senior year. I had a good time, but missed my boyfriend pretty much the whole time. 3) I went all out for my first prom sophomore year, with my hair, nails and prom dress and then again my senior year. 4) I only participated in senior skip day, which really isn't a thing but seniors do it anyways at my high school, my senior year. My best friend and I met super early on the day of Prom for breakfast and coffee and then just spent the rest of the day together doing random things like shopping, then getting our nails done with one of our other friends, and then ...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
