Happy birthday to our little man :)

Our precious baby boy arrived on Friday September 25, 2015 at 9:09 am. This was by far the easiest delivery since all we did was walk into the hospital at 6:00 am, got into my hospital gown, got hooked up to monitors, got my IV, and waited. Surgery team, doctor, and anesthesiologist all came in, and then we were off to our c-section. (Due to complications with a death of a child, and with Charlotte losing her heartbeat and then coming back once they moved her we had to have the surgery) Easier health wise and safer for baby! Riley was 8 lbs, 6 oz at birth and 21 inches long. Healthy baby with a healthy cry! Mama and Daddy were so ready to meet him, and even though he was two weeks early, he was and still is a thriving healthy baby!

Before heading to the hospital. Turned 38 weeks pregnant that very morning

In the elevator on the way to labor and delivery

All hooked up and waiting to be taken back to surgery

Isn't he handsome! Best support person for a momma in surgery ever!

Our newest addition

Proud Daddy!

Riley Scott Wicks :)

Our family of four! Charlotte wasn't too sure at first, but warmed up quickly!

Our newest Dawg fan! Go Dawgs :) :)

She looks like such a big girl! Cannot believe it

Going home on Monday morning. Quickest and best hospital stay!

Mom brought Charlotte home from her house and was pulling in right as I was trying to get upstairs

My boys! :) Love these two and little girl so very much

It's been quite a stressful 7 weeks, but we are very blessed to be able to call Riley ours and raise him to be a handsome young man! He looks so much like my husband so I know when he is older we will be fighting off the ladies! :P
I hope everyone has a wonderful, safe weekend!

XOXO

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
