Weekend Recap on a Tuesday! :)

So I was trying to get this posted yesterday but the littles decided they wanted to test Mommy yesterday and not allow me to get anything done. By the time both kids were in bed for the night I was so tired I just went straight to bed instead of having some "me" time.

This weekend started out running errands and going to the park! We haven't been to the park since August when I was put on bedrest!

Our newest park member!

She learned to climb the slide from her Aunt. She watched her climb up and just had to do it herself

The park can be exhausting for little boys!

Scott got home late, late Friday night like 12:30 am and we went straight to bed because he had to be up and out the door for a class at 9 am. He was gone until 4:30 and as soon as he got home Charlotte would not leave his lap! Even with baby Riley sitting there. We watched football all day, and even late into the night, since Saturday is devoted to college football! The television always has at least a game on at all times Saturday unless we aren't home, but we have been home most Saturdays this year!

I love these three

After a diaper change, I wanted a picture so I could compare it to his hospital picture!

This is from the day after he was born! His onesie was way too big on him here, and now at almost 8 weeks he has completely grown out of it, and it is a size 0-3 months!

Watching a movie with daddy in the floor!

Of course Daddy is home, she gets ice cream as part of her breakfast! This picture is precious

Sunday afternoon Scott and I had a kid free date! We went christmas shopping to get a head start on our list of gifts, and ended up having a little bit of retail therapy for me since I had not been shopping since before the baby was born. I was put on bed rest back in August and could not do anything so it felt good to get out of the house, and it felt amazing to have some one on one time with the hubby!

Our goodies! :)

I ended the night cleaning up the house, folding the laundry from over the weekend, and burning my new candle! Scott dropped the bag with the two candles in it, and it shattered the container with my candle, therefore we improvised and found a new vase for it... best thing ever! This candle smells amazing!
The reason the bag was dropped is because he went to reach up, and I went to pull my hand out of his, and in the process, the bag fell haha. It was funny especially since my hubby doesn't drop anything, he carries furniture for a living!

We had a wonderful weekend here in the Wicks household, especially since we had a full weekend with Daddy instead of just a few hours! It was nice having him home, and it was nice being able to go out on a date with him kid free!
Have a wonderful day!

XOXO

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...

Show and Tell Tuesday: Prom night!

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, and today we are talking all about Prom! Here are a few facts first before all the pictures of itty bitty high school me! 1) I dated the same boy from freshman year of high school until senior year of high school so he was my date for his junior and senior prom which was my sophomore year and junior year. 2) I went with my best friend my senior year. I had a good time, but missed my boyfriend pretty much the whole time. 3) I went all out for my first prom sophomore year, with my hair, nails and prom dress and then again my senior year. 4) I only participated in senior skip day, which really isn't a thing but seniors do it anyways at my high school, my senior year. My best friend and I met super early on the day of Prom for breakfast and coffee and then just spent the rest of the day together doing random things like shopping, then getting our nails done with one of our other friends, and then ...
