Weekend Recap: Riley's First Christmas Edition

Christmas morning we got the kiddos out of bed, Charlotte was playing in her crib and Riley was slowly waking up as well. At this age there is no waking up at 4 am to open gifts, its waking up at 7:30 when it is time for a bottle for Riley! This momma is not complaining at all :)

So we got the kiddos out of bed, and Charlotte at first did not really register that she had toys from Santa until she took a double take and then the fun started!

She had cheetos in her stocking and immediately wanted to eat them! Funny girl

She got a tea set, and Daddy opened it, so they had to play with it... Safe to say a fit occurred after we told her to stop playing with it. We hid it when she ran from the room haha. She got it back later :)

Baby's First Christmas! :) :) :)

Such a good Christmas this year! But what a mess :)

Christmas breakfast.. Pancakes! Been that way since Scott and I got married and continues on now!

Pancakes that make a face

Our big piano! We absolutely love playing on it, especially Charlotte

Shorts and Christmas socks on Christmas day! It was 70 degrees here....so not Christmas weather!

A wonderful neighbor got Charlotte a gift, and it was a Doc McStuffins medical bag and she absolutely loves it! She loves checking on her animals :)

Christmas is exhausting for a 3 month old! Someone needed some extra cuddles to lay down

On Christmas day we also went to my parents house so we could exchange gifts with them and my sister, and then we came home and the kids went to bed and Scott and I cleaned. It was crazy how messy the house got but after about an hour the kitchen was bake to normal after the crazy cookie baking and the living room was cleaned up and all tucked away! Scott and I went to bed exhausted and slept very well! Saturday was a day spent at home, except for the quick grocery store run we needed to make! We also brought Scott's truck back so he could leave early early Monday morning to go back to work! That night we held the kids in our arms and watched movies and it was such a nice peaceful evening. I held Riley and Scott held Charlotte and it just felt so peaceful and so right. It was an quiet evening of just us. Sunday was much the same where we didn't get out of our pajamas and just played with toys and ate all the junk and even put together our sugar cookie house we had baked, but not iced! It was a nice relaxing weekend of just the four of us and was a very nice and peaceful time. I had a wonderful holiday with my family and I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe holiday!

The weather is absolutely awful this week so wherever you are stay safe and have a great Wednesday!

XOXO

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...
