Friday Favorites

Happy Friday everyone! Today I'm linking up with these lovely ladies for Friday Favorites!

We left town Tuesday morning to escape the cold and being in the warmer climate is so wonderful! And to think in February we are moving down here permanently is definitely a favorite!

He fought a nap so hard Wedensday afternoon so we hopped in the car and took a drive. I gave him his little car and within 10 minutes he was fast asleep and holding his car tight! Such a cutie and definitely a favorite

His monster Jammies are just the cutest!

These two have been very loving and kind and everytime they get a chance I see them talking, playing, and just enjoying time with each other!

The first thing Charlotte did when she and I got home from the grocery store was give Riley a hug! Then she hugged her daddy and went back to playing with Riley! It was the cutest and a favorite thing that happened this week!

His elephant is his favorite! He got it before he was born and he loves chewing on it and hearing it crinkle. He also has a giraffe one that he got for Christmas but I don't think that one made it into the diaper bag for the trip!

This girl got some new pajamas when there was a sale on things at Target and then an additional 20 percent off with my cartwheel app! I got such a good deal on things for both kiddos but these are definitely a favorite from that haul of clothes I got!

And of course when she smiles and says cheese for the camera is a favorite too! She is such a goof!

We are staying down here this weekend instead of going home so I'm going shopping for some more essential items for the kiddos and then hitting up the laundromat so I can wash clothes as well! So it's going to be an interesting weekend! Hoping to get the kids out of the room for a little while! Being cooped up in one room is starting to get to them!

Some much needed family fun!

It's been a bit hectic the last few days! We got up and went to church Sunday morning for the first time at a new church. The pastor was so funny and made a new church less scary for me! Then Charlotte went to Mimi's for a few hours and Scott and I ran a few errands, cleaned out the truck, and went to the pool hall to play a few rounds before going to get her. I don't know what it is about the pool hall but it always is a place we enjoy going, without baby of course! After we picked Charlotte up, we went home and relaxed for a few hours and watched tv and played COD:ghosts!( Another one of our couple things) Then I packed a bag for Charlotte, did Scott's laundry, and cleaned up the house. Finally I packed my bag. Why am I packing bags and cleaning up the house you ask? Well, Charlotte and I are with Scott this week going to Florida. We are going down to the gulf coast for a little sun, surf, and family time, and Scott has to work a day down there as well! Then we ar

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to all! It's been a wonderful family weekend! Unfortunately our Memorial Day ended early, since Scott is now headed to work. He has to be in Miami, 7 am tomorrow! Yuck. Luckily Monday is almost over and we only have to make it until Friday until we see him again! Trying to stay positive and look at it as a good thing, not a bad. It is hard to see him leave, but I know he has to go to work. Charlotte was sad but luckily nap time was soon after he left so she transitioned into sleep fine. She will be upset when she gets up in a few but lots of cuddles, cartoons and playing until bed time will keep her preoccupied. We are headed to the beach this weekend, and then staying down there for the week while Scott works, but we will all be together and Mommy and Charlotte will be looking at houses while Daddy works so we will stay occupied with that and lots of pool time! Cannot wait until this week is over. May is almost over, then June is here! Cannot believe that!

Weekend Recap: This Weekend Edition

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a good Monday! We certainly did! We did not run around like crazy people and got Charlotte's big birthday gift from Momma and Daddy yesterday so all is on track for our princess turning 3 on Sunday! This past weekend started out slow with playing with all of our toys and stuffed animals and taking lots of naps on the momma Saturday was spent cleaning, taking out the garbage to the dump and buying groceries. So Saturday we spent just getting ready for the week and taking care of everything we needed to get done for a busy week that we are currently in. We also took one more day of rest to recuperate from the stomach bug and allergies that made the rounds through our house. Sunday we got out of the house because it was not too hot and not too chilly and it wasn't raining so it was the perfect day to go to the flea market.
