Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I'm linking up with Andrea, Erika, and Narci for Friday Favorites! Just a random assortment of favorite things from the past week that have made me smile, or made me laugh, or just been something good!

This boy is starting solids very slowly so he is starting to sit in a high chair! His face is my favorite because he is just so darn cute! I love when he smiles!
This girl loves her new sunglasses! Her wearing them is a favorite because she grabs them whenever we leave to go somewhere and she knows she needs her sunglasses! Such a cutie and smart little girl :)

And speaking of smiles, he is the best grocery shopping buddy! He loves looking at momma and smiling while I shop and get try to figure out how to put things in the grocery cart with him in it.

Another favorite, is him sitting in my lap and reading his books he got from Mimi and Grandpa for Christmas! He loves the crinkly sound and the different things that come off the pages!

My Pottery Barn catalog was in the mail and that was definitely a favorite thing that came this week! I was looking forward to looking through it!

Last but not least, being able to use my laptop again is definitely a favorite! I have been blogging from my ipad because I was not expecting to be gone for so long so I didn't bring my laptop! Huge mistake, and I will never leave my laptop again, even if it it just a overnight trip! Being able to type and do links and add pictures is so much easier on my laptop!

Scott has the weekend off so we are spending some quality time with him before he has to go back to work Sunday night so lots of fun outside plans because it is supposed to be warm and beautiful this weekend! I hope everyone has a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!

XOXO

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to all! It's been a wonderful family weekend! Unfortunately our Memorial Day ended early, since Scott is now headed to work. He has to be in Miami, 7 am tomorrow! Yuck. Luckily Monday is almost over and we only have to make it until Friday until we see him again! Trying to stay positive and look at it as a good thing, not a bad. It is hard to see him leave, but I know he has to go to work. Charlotte was sad but luckily nap time was soon after he left so she transitioned into sleep fine. She will be upset when she gets up in a few but lots of cuddles, cartoons and playing until bed time will keep her preoccupied. We are headed to the beach this weekend, and then staying down there for the week while Scott works, but we will all be together and Mommy and Charlotte will be looking at houses while Daddy works so we will stay occupied with that and lots of pool time! Cannot wait until this week is over. May is almost over, then June is here! Cannot believe that! ...

Show and Tell Tuesday: School Photos

Happy Tuesday! Today I am joining Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday's and today we are showing Worst School Pictures! I have a combination of good and bad school pictures just to mix it up a little bit!  Little baby Cat right before Pre-K!  Back in 2005, I was in middle school and going through a short hair and converse phase where I wore a lot of black and tried to fit in with a certain group of people! I was such a goof And Throwing it back to 2004! Aren't I just cute?!  Senior Year of High School  Senior Year pictures! I had ridiculously long hair that didn't like to cooperate for pictures! Then I chopped all of my hair off before going off to college Kept it short second year of college And finally grew it out and even colored it, I was in a rebellious stage it seemed! Those are my worst and best school pictures! I don't have too many pictures from my school days just because everything was thrown away when I lef...

Life Lately!

Happy Monday! Its a little life lately post to catch up on our past week! I started back to school for my Masters, Scott started his senior year of undergrad and life has gone crazy!  This little is working on sitting up, and finding all of his toys that he didn't know he had until he became mobile. He isn't crawling but he is really good at rolling himself around the place!  With sister in school all day these two are becoming best friends! I'll catch Skyler pulling R's hair, but I will also catch them laughing and playing and reading together! It's the sweetest little bond!  He enjoyed rolling himself underneath his crib a lot, all while I was sitting in the room with him! He loves to explore, even when it means momma has to rescue him from under the bed :P Afternoon cartons, goldfish and playing with toys We have been reading lots of books lately, we are going to the library this week to get some books but Ri has enjoyed reading wha...
