Getting back to normal

Now that the holiday season is over, everything has somewhat gotten back to normal! Scott is working his butt off, and I'm holding the fort down. Instead of seeing him for four days a week, I've seen him for about 6 hours total this week. It's been rough but its just back to the grind of things for the Wicks.

I have two teething babies so sleep has been rare and its been rough, but I'm managing. Charlotte is getting her last set of molars that you get around the age of 2 and Riley is just starting his journey of getting teeth. Riley so far is not handling it as well as Charlotte did when she was little. He is super grumpy and fussy, a drool monster, we have had to pull the bibs out officially and he wears one almost all the time, and he hasn't been sleeping through the night like he normally does. Charlotte isn't doing awful but she definitely has started to complain about her teeth. She has a few nights were she wakes up in the middle of the night crying but will go back to sleep with a pacifier. So she has to be chewing on something to help. It's definitely not fun and I feel so awful for my babies, but I know the pain will ease soon.

I've been working on cooking a lot this week. Even though Charlotte isn't often home for dinner because she goes to Mimi's house, I still try to make something. This week it is super cold, like 40s cold, which is a huge wake up to the 80s we were having last week and the week before so I made some yummy  Chili that has lasted two days now! It's so yummy and the perfect dinner for keeping warm!

It's been a good week getting back into the routine of two kiddos and mommy all week, but we definitely miss daddy!

Here's a few pictures from the past few days!

Have a Great Thursday!

XOXO

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...

I have a combination of good and bad school pictures just to mix it up a little bit!  Little baby Cat right before Pre-K!  Back in 2005, I was in middle school and going through a short hair and converse phase where I wore a lot of black and tried to fit in with a certain group of people! I was such a goof And Throwing it back to 2004! Aren't I just cute?!  Senior Year of High School  Senior Year pictures! I had ridiculously long hair that didn't like to cooperate for pictures! Then I chopped all of my hair off before going off to college Kept it short second year of college And finally grew it out and even colored it, I was in a rebellious stage it seemed! Those are my worst and best school pictures! I don't have too many pictures from my school days just because everything was thrown away when I lef...

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday!  Today I am linking up with Andrea , Narci , and Erika for some Friday Favorites full of sunshine, walks, and playing outside! We have enjoyed getting out and playing and we had a five day weekend for St. Patrick's Day and we enjoyed every bit of it!  We have had gorgeous weather the past week and we have been soaking it up with all the park time and this little guy has been loving the warm weather too! He loves just chilling in his car seat while the older two run and get all the wiggles out!  We have also been taking an afternoon walk around our neighborhood and these kids are all about riding their bikes or running in front of the stroller while we do that! Getting out and watching these two have a good time is definitely a favorite!  Our little turned one month old a week ago! While it makes me sad that he is growing so fast, it is definitely a favorite to know he has been ours for four weeks now! It's been so muc...
