Life before nasty weather hits the East Coast!

All this nasty weather has me all kinds of stressed! With my hubby being a truck driver you can almost always know he will be somewhere I am not comfortable with him being! Currently he is up north where the snow and ice and blizzards are! He is trying so hard to get in and out as fast as he can but it's still so stressful knowing there are blizzard like conditions and he is in them! I bought him thermals and gloves for the first time this year so he wouldn't freeze in his truck!

We are currently still away from home! With an apartment that doesn't warm up we aren't going to let our children freeze and get sick so for now we are still all in one room together! So far it's not too bad! The kids do wake up a lot more in the night but go back to sleep pretty easily! And it's so cute watching how close these two have gotten! Riley adores his big sister and last night at dinner was just the best! Riley was sitting in Scott's lap and Charlotte was next to Scott and Riley would just coo and laugh and try so hard to talk to Charlotte! He was so happy and excited to be next to his big sister! It was definitely a warm and fuzzy moment!

Today we have a few errands to run, a few houses to go look at but mostly playing outside since it will be back in the 60s and the rain moves in tomorrow!

Lots of this will be happening today!!

I hope everyone stays safe and warm and has a wonderful Thursday!
Keep our Truckers running through this and everyone in the path of this nasty weather in your prayers! It's going to be a rough weekend!

XOXO

It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...

Show and Tell Tuesday: Prom night!

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, and today we are talking all about Prom! Here are a few facts first before all the pictures of itty bitty high school me! 1) I dated the same boy from freshman year of high school until senior year of high school so he was my date for his junior and senior prom which was my sophomore year and junior year. 2) I went with my best friend my senior year. I had a good time, but missed my boyfriend pretty much the whole time. 3) I went all out for my first prom sophomore year, with my hair, nails and prom dress and then again my senior year. 4) I only participated in senior skip day, which really isn't a thing but seniors do it anyways at my high school, my senior year. My best friend and I met super early on the day of Prom for breakfast and coffee and then just spent the rest of the day together doing random things like shopping, then getting our nails done with one of our other friends, and then ...
