Show and Tell Tuesday: "momfessional moments"

Today I am linking up with Andrea  and doing Show and Tell Tuesday! Today we are talking about our "momfessional moments"!

1) When I was pregnant with Riley, Charlotte would get up and I would fix her a cup of milk, get her Cheerios for breakfast, bring her back to my bed and put her cartoons on. I would then sleep for another hour because getting out of bed was just too difficult for this momma! I was always super tired when I was pregnant with him, and luckily Charlotte would let momma sleep a little more!

2) I let Charlotte eat in the car! Sometimes it's the only thing that will get her to stop crying! I wasn't allowed to eat in the car as a kid and she's not allowed to eat in her Mimi's car but for me and for her daddy she is allowed to eat! I remember Scott giving her a bisquits to eat and we had to dump her car seat out it was so full of crumbs!

3) I am not the neatest person and my house is always a train wreck, up until the husband is coming home. I don't want to deal with the what have you done all week conversation so I put the kids in their respective areas and clean all the toys and books off the floor and clean the kitchen. It has become routine! Any other day I tell myself it will just become a mess again so there is just no point cleaning it haha!

4) At this point my kids are young and follow me everywhere, including the bathroom! So I can't hide or do anything like eat chocolate watch, tv shows, or paint my nails until the kids are in bed. Having said that I may have put the kids to bed an hour early just to be able to have some momma time! They are young so sleep won't hurt them! :)

5) I may turn cartoons on for my kids, put them in my bedroom and lock my bedroom door just so my toddler cannot open the door so that I can take a quick shower. This doesn't happen everyday but when I've just had enough and need a shower that is what happens!

6) Instead of fighting with my toddler to get her to eat, I hide her food. I remember one day she only wanted to eat Mac and cheese so I sat and hid the chicken in the Mac and cheese and she ate it all without scrunching her nose up! On days she is just too smart for mommy she gets turkey and fruit and cheese and bread for dinner, or some other assortment of food thrown together just so she will eat more than just cheese or more than just chicken! She such a picky eater now that her brother is here and instead of battling her I try my best!

I love my children and I do my very best to be the best momma to them i can be! Having two under two can be difficult some days but a blessing the next!  I couldn't ask for better children and I may have my mom moments but I wouldn't trade them for the world! And I'm sure they will get worse as the kiddos get older!

I love these two!

Here's what the rest of the link ups will be for the rest of 2016! Feel free to grab the link and link up yourselves!

Next time we are showing how to win our heart! Stay tuned! :)

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

XOXO

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
