Busy Busy Weekend

This weekend was crazy! Scott got home late Friday night after dropping off two shipments up north and we crashed immediately! Riley was up bright and early Saturday morning and we made our breakfast we usually eat on Sunday, on Saturday because Charlotte was not going to be home Sunday morning. We spent a lot of time just sitting around Saturday and then we ran errands in the afternoon! We enjoyed some sweet time with Charlotte before she went to Mimi's for a sleepover! Having one on one time was fun with Riley but I definitely missed my girl! Riley does not have a crib yet, and I wanted to see how he did in a crib and out of our room so I rocked him, and made sure Charlotte's crib didn't have any stuffed animals or her pillow in it and laid him down in there, and he went straight to sleep, didn't wake up at 3 and slept until 5 and then went back to sleep until 8! It was a good night's rest for him and now I know once we move he will be okay in his own room and in a crib! He sleeps half the time in a rock and play and half the time in his pack and play so i wasn't sure how he would do in the crib! He slept so good! It was awesome! Sunday morning we had some things to take care of such as getting some last minute groceries and returning something I bought for Ollie that does not fit him! So we ran errands with just one munchkin and it felt so weird because I'm used to chasing Charlotte around and it was just three of us. Felt like when we just had Charlotte, it was weird! After some errands we went to lunch with my mom and dad, my grandmother, and my sister and her boyfriend for my dad's birthday! We had lasagna and cake and ice cream and it was so yummy! We had a lot of fun as a family! I had to wake Charlotte up from her nap so we could go home since Riley was losing it from waking up way too early from his nap in my arms and so we decided it was best to get back to our own environment. Charlotte went back down for a nap in her crib and Riley had a bottle and cuddles with Momma before taking a two hour nap himself! It was great! It's been a struggle to get him to nap for very long so that was a very rare but exciting nap for him! After naps we watched the Superbowl and chowed down on burgers and tater tots with cupcakes as dessert! It was a slam packed weekend, and with two kiddos teething (we found Charlotte's molar had popped through) i was holding kiddos, rocking kiddos, or just sitting with kiddos all weekend! It was a great time had by all and now its back to a crazy slam packed work week for Scott! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

We also broke the bouncer out for this boy who loves to stand up!

Have a great Monday!

XOXO

Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
