Life in the Wicks house

Life around here lately has been a mixture of crazy, sweet, and cuddly!

I picked up Charlotte's party invitations on Friday to get them filled out and sent out! That way people have a chance to get it on their calendars if they are able to make it! I didn't send them far out enough in advance last year for her first birthday but people still reworked their schedules to make it!

We also did some arts and crafts! Charlotte drew a card for her Daddy, and then we painted the kiddos feet and made hearts out of them for Mimi and Grandpa! It went a lot better than I expected but that is probably because I had help to get it done! :) The joys of having a husband who will help me with my crazy crafting projects

Family of four just watching tv before bedtime! Riley's all wrapped up and being rocked to sleep while this picture was being taken but he opened his eyes because he say the camera! He loves taking pictures :)

A little tummy time on our gigantic alligator stuffed animal

And lots of cuddles have been necessary! He needs his momma a lot lately so I do not mind stopping everything to hold my cuddle bug!

I am narrowing down our list of houses to go down and look at, still packing up boxes and after the kiddos doctor appointment will be getting medical records! Plus planning a birthday party on top of it all! It's crazy busy and will continue to be until we get down into our house! I would not have it any other way! I'm so excited about this next step in our lives! :)

Have a great Thursday!

XOXO

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...
