Weekend Recap: Park and Cuddles

Happy Tuesday Everyone! I hope everyone had a great weekend and a wonderful Monday! Today I am doing our weekend recap! We had a busy but cuddly weekend and soaked up the warm weather and sunshine since it has been raining since Sunday afternoon and it about to get pretty serious in a few hours here. Not excited about the severe weather but glad to have my babies here with me and we will enjoy playing and reading and just waiting the nasty weather out.

On Friday, this little started out in her Minnie Mouse dress!

And we took pictures while playing with toys on the floor!

Charlotte is such a goof!

Then we headed to a new park! I have heard so many good things about this park and it definitely did not disappoint! It was so much fun! A tot area that is fenced off from the bigger area was perfect for Charlotte and Friday there was just one other person playing on the playground.

The tunnel

She hates swings, so this only lasted about 5 minutes before she was done!

The bridge

Little boy and I watching Charlotte play! It was sunny so I had my hoodie over him to block him from the super bright light!

Climbing

Saying hey to the bulldog pup! There are bulldog statues all around and they even have a tour to find all of them, so we may do that in the next month before we move! If it ever stops raining haha

Naps after the park are always the best! Especially when Momma gets to take an unexpected nap because this boy wanted cuddles for the last hour of his nap!

Third outfit of the day and ready to go to the grocery store! Turns out both kiddos went to Mimi's while I went grocery shopping. Those 30 minutes of peace were wonderful, but I still missed my kiddos! After that we came home, took baths and got into bed!

It was much more cloudy Saturday when we went to the park and this little was asleep when I put him in the carrier. I put him in forward facing so he could watch Charlotte playing and he looks so sad. :(

Charlotte loves the slide! She could go down the slide a million times and never stop, but the park was super busy today! There were three other little babies at the park today plus a bunch of other kids that were running around almost knocking children over so we stayed in this area and only stayed for a short time before the wind got too crazy!
I didn't take too many pictures on Saturday. We went to the park, went home for lunch and naps and the kiddos both slept at the same time for two hours. Scott was home around 4 and we all got to have some family fun before heading to bed. Scott got up super early and went back to work Sunday morning and the kiddos and I stayed in bed and watched movies!

And Riley sat up for the very first time :)

Charlotte is such a loving big sister. Here she is giving Riley is paci, or baba as she calls it!

He was asleep in my arms so I put him in my chair on the pillow. He woke up and we were trying to get him to smile and laugh, and he was doing it for a little while before he got tired again.
After this the kiddos got a bath, brushed Charlotte's teeth and we went to bed!

It was a busy weekend but also a cuddly one! We went out and enjoyed the sunshine and took care of some things like sending out Charlotte's party invitations but the kiddos and I mostly enjoyed cuddling and spending time just chilling out and relaxing! We watched a lot of movies Sunday because they were playing back to back Disney movies! It was a great family weekend, but we definitely missed Daddy since he worked and we only saw him for a few hours.

Have a great Tuesday!

XOXO

Show and Tell Tuesday: Prom night!

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, and today we are talking all about Prom! Here are a few facts first before all the pictures of itty bitty high school me! 1) I dated the same boy from freshman year of high school until senior year of high school so he was my date for his junior and senior prom which was my sophomore year and junior year. 2) I went with my best friend my senior year. I had a good time, but missed my boyfriend pretty much the whole time. 3) I went all out for my first prom sophomore year, with my hair, nails and prom dress and then again my senior year. 4) I only participated in senior skip day, which really isn't a thing but seniors do it anyways at my high school, my senior year. My best friend and I met super early on the day of Prom for breakfast and coffee and then just spent the rest of the day together doing random things like shopping, then getting our nails done with one of our other friends, and then ...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...
