Weekend Recap: Zoo Trip

This weekend was so laid back but busy as well! We spent Friday just hanging around the house while Scott recovered from driving back from his unload up north! So he spent a lot of the day lounging and sleeping while he could, since the kiddos were up and about he didn't get much sleep during the day, but definitely got to sit and relax! I did laundry, washed dishes, made meals for Charlotte, fed Riley, changed diapers, and played endless games and watched a crazy amount of cartoons! It was a good stay at home Friday! Saturday we got up and did more laundry and dishes and then both kiddos went to Mimi's for the afternoon so Scott and I planned out the month for bills. Then we did Taxes, got rings cleaned, and went out to lunch for the first time kid free in months and months! It was nice to just have time with him to enjoy our pizza and not chase pacifiers, toys, burp clothes or control toddler tantrums! Then we ran by the grocery store on the way to pick the kids up! After a rough night of getting the kids down for the night finally both were in bed and Scott and I were able to watch a movie and play a few rounds of our video game before bed! We were up at 5:30, super early because Riley woke up for a bottle, but this time he didn't go back to sleep and Charlotte woke up crying at 4. So we had an early start but drank lots of coffee and had our Sunday breakfast of sausage and eggs then got dressed and headed out. Sunday afternoon we took the kids to the Zoo for the very first time! I have so badly been wanting to take Charlotte for about a year now, so we finally got to go as a family of four! Riley enjoyed riding in the stroller and being carried as well as seeing the animals, and Charlotte enjoyed watching the animals she knew, and after a few tantrums to get her back into the stroller we got into a rhythm and it was a great afternoon as just us! It was so much fun!

I will do a post about our zoo trip later this week since there are so many photos! I tried to only choose a few but they are all so good, so I will just post a few and then post again and talk more in detail later this week!
Have a great Monday!

XOXO

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
