Weekend Recap

The kiddos are both napping after the traumatic experience of getting shots at the doctor! Charlotte is such a clinger when it comes to the doctor. She just absolutely hates it! Riley didn't mind too much until he got his second shot, which is 4 shots in one. My poor littles! I feel so bad having to take them and them get shots but I know it is good and keeps them protected! This weekend we drove back up to Athens and celebrated Charlotte's birthday! We had a family birthday party, and had lots of fun just celebrating our beautiful two year old! Sunday was spent packing, packing, and packing and moving a majority of our stuff into storage. Two weeks until we say goodbye to our apartment! I'm excited but very sad as well! We brought our babies home here but we are so excited to have a home with more space and a yard to play in!

Charlotte napped with her doc mcstuffins bag the whole way home!

The sunset was absolutely gorgeous!

And within 5 minutes there were toys and puzzles and everything on the floor

We celebrated the birthday girl

and by the time we got home she was out cold! She took a great nap after her party, so good in fact that I had to wake her up for dinner.

My packing buddy! He napped most of the day but when he didn't want to sleep he was next to me.

My sweet boy!

Took a break to run to Home Depot to get ideas for rugs, blinds, curtains and dog houses. Plus gardening things as well. Zaxby's was a delicious lunch that we had before starting again!

Charlotte was so incredibly sweet before bed Sunday! Riley was very very tired and she was sitting next to him whispering a song and saying shhh in the sweetest, and quietest little voice. She is a wonderful big sister!

Charlotte had flowers for me when we went to pick her up from Mimi's. Such a sweet surprise! :)

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and has a great week! Back to the grind of packing, and running after the kiddos!

XOXO

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
