Finally able to breathe :)

Just like that, the stress is over! We are finally done! We are now home owners after two and a half weeks in a hotel! Whew! That was a long, stressful and busy process! We finished up all the paperwork yesterday afternoon, and now I finally have a chance to sit down in my new office and blog! I am so very excited! It is still so fresh and exciting!

Our closing date was moved three times before yesterday so the kiddos and I are happy to be in our own beds, and happy to have space to run around again! The dog loves the yard, but is a digger so if anyone has any way to prevent a dog from digging let me know? He is a dog and some holes are normal, but when it comes to him trying to escape the fence, then I have a problem!

Despite all the changes and stress it was still being able to see the hubs every night since we are now living only 10 minutes away from where he works. I have only not seen him one night for the three weeks that we have been down here, and I am thankful and grateful that I get to see him more now! With summer coming I know he will be out more, but just the idea of being here when he returns to reload or unload and he will be able to pass through is just a nice feeling! This move has been difficult, especially since I moved away from my family, my home and everything I have known, but I am so ready for this next adventure, to watch our kids grow up in this house, and have our chapter is in life!

Charlotte is already adjusting so well, and Riley is loving his crib, and the transition to the crib and his new room has been relatively easy! He has trouble with napping still but he sleeps amazing, and it feels good for this momma to finally be sleeping longer than 4 hours at a time! He still wakes once at night but that is fine with me, because it means I get more rest!

It's been quite the month and its been full steam ahead the whole time but we made it and can now breathe! We are homeowners and feels so good!

We have a pretty busy weekend scheduled, including a drive up to see Mimi and Grandpa so it will be fun! I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday! Thank goodness it is finally Friday!

I will be doing a house tour sometime soon once we get all the boxes unpacked! Who knew we had so much stuff haha :)

Have a safe and happy weekend!

XOXO

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
