Two kiddos and a dog in a hotel kind of busy!

It's been so crazy busy and the crazy is not even over yet! Since my last post on St. Patrick's Day we have been down to take care of some business for the day driven back up to Athens, taken Easter pictures, packed up our entire apartment, loaded it three separate times onto the truck, and finally moved out on Easter Sunday. The kids got Easter baskets even though the apartment was empty except for last minute items to pack and load, we cleaned all day that day, put the kiddos in their pj's, closed the apartment door for the last time and drove to our hotel room 5 hours away. Luckily we got to see Mimi and Grandpa one last time before saying goodbye, they had just gotten back from vacation in Florida. It was sad to not have them here our last week but they had a wonderful time on vacation. Living in a hotel room with two kiddos and a dog is quite the adventure, to say the least. We are all going stir crazy and have been here now for two weeks. Hoping that changes sometime soon!
Here are a bunch of pictures from the last couple of weeks to catch up on! I will try to post blogs more regularly as soon as we get to the next step in this process and actually get internet again! Here's to the crazy adventures of moving!

Charlotte got a new toddler bed! She was having an episode of getting really scared and crying Momma in the middle of the night and was throwing herself out of her crib, and it was not a pretty sight, so therefore we made the jump and got her a new bed before the big move!
Riley's First Easter and Charlotte's first time being scared to sit next to the Easter bunny
 My sweet babies!

We went to the park a lot our last week!
Not excited about being up super early to get the car serviced
My girl looking so big :(
Last park trip as residents of our apartment
Walking to get some ice cream! The kiddos and I drove down earlier this day to do a walkthrough and then stayed overnight so the kids weren't going crazy in the car! It's not just a 20 minute drive so being in the car a lot is not their favorite.
The bunny came with Easter baskets prepared, despite all the crazy that is going on in our apartment this day
The kids enjoyed the surprise, especially since all of their things kept disappearing at night while they were sleeping! Riley's first Easter was hectic, but we tried to keep it a little fun for them as well.

We went from one side of the apartment to the other, and while we were working the kiddos were playing and watching DVD's. More specifically Bubble Guppies. How Riley got from the pillow to under the bed I have no idea.
Just two kiddos hanging out. Their first home, where we brought them home from the hospital! Such a bittersweet moment!
Closing the door on this chapter and moving on to the next one! Aren't Charlotte's converse with her pajamas just the cutest! :)
I asked Charlotte to sit with Riley while I got the stroller so she jumped into the seat with him, much to my surprise.
She needs sunglassses, and a toy always while in the car or she is  not a happy camper! This was a rare moment of Mommy not driving so I could snap of her!
Sitting in the cart for the first time like a big boy! Where did my baby go? :( Can you see Charlotte's shoe poking out underneath him? She loved helping mommy with the groceries :)

Dinner with these two is always a blast, especially when they get to sit in the seat while at Sonic because we are eating outside with the windows down!
First swim of the season! It was freezing cold so we were not in long but this girl loved it anyways!
Laundry day with two means it is time to break out the double stroller to keep them contained and let Riley nap!
Dreaming about our backyard and what we are going to do with it!
Helping Momma with the stroller on the way to dinner

It's been hectic but it seems like we will be ending the hotel chapter soon so hopefully I can get around to getting on schedule again once we have internet! Thanks for stopping by and see y'all again soon!

XOXO

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...
