Life around the Wicks house

Hey everyone!
Life has been all kinds of fun, hectic and crazy! We have officially been in our house for a month now and it is still such a shock to believe we finally have our home! The kiddos are still loving the space to play, and the yard to run around in and Riley is now officially crawling! I cannot believe he is getting so big so fast! I feel like it was just yesterday he was being born! We have done a lot of sitting at home because of all the appointments we have had to get things done at the house such as the electrical work, an outlet doesn't work in the kitchen, and the blinds being installed. It's been fun getting books unpacked and pictures hung on the walls to make it feel more and more like home!
Here are some pictures to sum up all the fun we have been having!

A trip to the beach is just what we needed! The weather was perfect and we enjoyed having Daddy home to go with us!

Riley is not a fan of the water

He got used to it the longer he was left in the waves.

Of course our water child loves the water, and didn't want to leave when we told her it was time to go. She was at one point sitting in the water with her clothes on, because being two means we don't care whether we are in our clothes or bathing suit.

Our family in the spot where we got married three years ago! We took one of the three of us on Charlotte's first beach trip, and now we have one of the four of us.

Here is the one of us with Charlotte! She was three months old when we took her to the beach for the first time! Oh the memories! She was so tiny!

I gave Riley one of Charlotte's pacifiers that I washed and he absolutely loved it, even though it was pink :)

We grilled shrimp and peppers and it was so good!

My little looks so good in this onesie, and the penguin just makes it even better!

My lunch date! She is so good when I let her sit and eat while I sit across from her! I love how well behaved she is in situations like this!

Hanging out in the marsh at a wildlife sanctuary!

I was petrified she was going to walk off the edge so this is as far as she was allowed away from me, and only in this wide section! She looks like such a big girl!

The kiddos at the petting zoo looking at the cow!

Sweet girl with a wand she made at the fairy festival!

I am so blessed to be loved by these people! Even the dog got me a Mother's Day card!

My sweet girl is extra clingy now that Riley is mobile. She loves laying on the couch with me and her baby watching cartoons!

Um, how cute is he? Mustaches and baby smiles are always a great thing for the week!

Now not only do I have one that won't let me have privacy in the bathroom, but now I have two! The joys of motherhood!

Trying to escape!

The love between these two is the absolute best to witness! They adore each other and I cannot wait for the adventures they go on together

This girl hates water being on her head, like screams in the bathtub when I wash her hair, but we broke the sprinkler out yesterday to water some dry patches of grass and this girl went to town, running around and playing in the water! It was so much fun to watch her laying and playing! She had a blast and was soaked, so she had to change for dinner!

That's been what has been going on around here. Lots of laughs, smiles, playing, and having a blast at the house! We are adjusting quite well and look forward to more sprinkler time this summer!

Have a great Thursday everyone! See you back here tomorrow for Friday Favorites :)

XOXO

Show and Tell Tuesday: Prom night!

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, and today we are talking all about Prom! Here are a few facts first before all the pictures of itty bitty high school me! 1) I dated the same boy from freshman year of high school until senior year of high school so he was my date for his junior and senior prom which was my sophomore year and junior year. 2) I went with my best friend my senior year. I had a good time, but missed my boyfriend pretty much the whole time. 3) I went all out for my first prom sophomore year, with my hair, nails and prom dress and then again my senior year. 4) I only participated in senior skip day, which really isn't a thing but seniors do it anyways at my high school, my senior year. My best friend and I met super early on the day of Prom for breakfast and coffee and then just spent the rest of the day together doing random things like shopping, then getting our nails done with one of our other friends, and then ...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...
