Weekend Recap: Busy but relaxed

Hey Hey Hey! Happy Monday Y'all! I hope everyone had a great weekend!
We spent a lot of time Friday outside including going to a local park Friday afternoon but it was so hot we were only there for about 30 minutes before coming back home to play in the driveway!
I broke out the big camera and took it with us on our little adventure to the park! It is so fun having a playground designed exactly for Charlotte's age! She can play and do her thing and I can watch Riley, while keeping an eye on her as well!

His big sister absolutely hates to swing unless it is on our swing at home! This little boy however absolutely loves it! He gets the cutest little smirk right before a big smile

He hung out in the shade in the stroller while sister played!

He was just so happy! I couldn't resist taking pictures!

This girl loves the slide! Every playground we go to she is always saying slide, slide slide! It is so much fun watching her play and explore.
Saturday was spent at home, buying groceries and just hanging out! We watched Saturday morning cartoons, had complete breakdowns at the grocery store and took awesome two hour naps! I managed to take no pictures :(

Sunday started out like this! I love watching these two get closer and closer and explore toys and the house together! We had our Sunday morning breakfast since Daddy was home and then Riley wanted to sit with Momma!

My little mini me

While we chowed down on sausage and eggs, Riley had some peaches and oranges and made the biggest mess, because its fun exploring new foods!

Then we ran all of our errands with Daddy! We went to Walmart,  Gymboree, ate at the Food Court at the mall, Ashley Furniture, and finally the second mall to walk around and look at the Gymboree there! I am looking for shorts for Charlotte and they were supposed to be having a sale on shorts but I couldn't find them, so I will probably be making a trip to the outlets this week :)

We finally bought Charlotte a tricylce. She doesn't quite get the concept but it is still fun to see her on one and trying. She got really upset after this picture and threw an epic two year old tantrum but was fine with a little juice and some time for herself! Being two is hard y'all!

We had a laid back but busy weekend here! Got so much done and ready to start the week off strong!
Have a good Monday! Thanks for stopping by!

XOXO

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
