Weekend Recap: Finally fully unpacked

Happy Monday! We had a fabulous weekend here! Lots of just hanging around the house but we played and played and played our hearts out! It was so good to not have to run around to get things from the store!

Friday started out with cartoons with these two!

My flowers finally bloomed :)

We did some outside playtime before the rain hit!

This girl loves chalk and drives momma crazy by writing all over her hands and even on my car! EEK!

This little boy discovered the stairs on Friday evening! He is so cute but we most definitely need to get a gate for the bottom of the stairs now, not just the top!

Saturday morning started out with cuddles with both of my kiddos! Charlotte doesn't normally sit with me so this was a treat!

Charlotte even put her head down while Riley napped, and he was out cold right after this picture :)

Then we discovered Snapchat and it has been a constant presence since!

Once Riley woke up we moved upstairs to play with the kitchen that Charlotte got for her birthday

Then we went outside because the sun was out and it wasn't too hot, it was supposed to be raining at this time

Charlotte had a blast playing outside with her bubble mower

Isn't she just so cute!?!

We finally got our curio cabinets in!

We also discovered a frog on our front window! It stuck there all day and then was gone by bedtime

Sunday Scott and I worked on a project

Building a bookshelf

For my shot glass shelf he built two years ago to sit on. Hand made items in the home are my favorite, especially when the hubby and I get to work on them together while the kiddos were napping

Riley woke up crying so in my lap he went

He did not enjoy unpacking! He went down for his second nap right after I snapped this photo!

After nap time and before dinner it was time for cuddles!

The end result of a long day of work! Isn't it beautiful!? I love it so much

We ended our weekend with the beautiful sunset!

Having a weekend at home was nice! Especially since it was our last weekend before the two girls, Scott's two children that live away, get here. It is going to be a fun summer and the last little push to get everything unpacked was nice to get done before the other two get here on Saturday!
I hope everyone had a great weekend and have a wonderful Monday!

Thanks for stopping by! Tomorrow I'm linking up with Show and Tell Tuesday where we talk about our Favorite vacation(s) so come on by!

XOXO

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
