Friday Favorites: Rain, beach and new pajamas

Happy Friday Ya'll! I'm so happy that it is finally Friday! This week has just been so hectic and busy!
Today I'm linking up with Andrea, Erika, and Narci for some Friday Favorites!

ONE

Old Navy outlet was having a sale over Memorial Day weekend and I snagged a pair of these super cute sleep shorts! They are super soft and super comfy and for 7 dollars they were hard to walk away from! You can find them here. There are so many colors but I got the blue plaid! They are perfect for running after the littles while wearing!

TWO
Grocery shopping this past weekend was a Favorite for sure! I love how they sit and drive their little section and when they pick on each other! I know it will not be a favorite when they are older and doing it all the time but seeing the love between these to is amazing to witness!

THREE

This cute mutt is a favorite! He is loving the backyard and having space to run around!

FOUR

Chocolate cake means being covered in chocolate! This girl is such a goof and a favorite for this week because she watched me and daddy get each other with icing so she took it upon herself to cover her entire face, arms and dress!

FIVE

We went to the beach yesterday and this boy loved it! Last time he was put in the sand he screamed so his reaction this time was a favorite, minus the eating of all the sand! He really enjoyed sitting in the water and just doing his own thing!

SIX

While I have not enjoyed all the flooding and news stories about all the horrible things happening because of the rain, the rain is a favorite! I enjoy that we can get out and do something in the morning before the storm hits! There has been lots of praying for all the people being affected by flooding but I just love a summer shower!

This week has been extra crazy with getting things settled and back in a routine now that we have the two older girls with us for the summer! Lots of running around getting used to each other and the house! Thanks for stopping by for Friday Favorites!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! It is supposed to rain all weekend so not sure what will be happening around here but I'm sure we will find something to do!

XOXO

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...

Weekend Recap!

Happy Monday! I wont lie, today is a lot like my dish towel says: We had all the plans to go exploring and do something productive this weekend, but I only managed to clean the entire kitchen on Friday afternoon while the babies were napping! Here is a a bit of our weekend:  Friday morning started out with two monkeys jumping on the bed bright and early!  I love how they wake up so happy in the morning Riley got his 15 month shots on Thursday so I was fully expecting a grump and a half and got a very happy smiley baby boy instead!  We practiced blowing kisses We snuggled and we ran around with our backpack of toys Mommy did not unpack from the doctor's visit.  Saturday we spent lots of time snuggling on the couch, napping, and watching cartoons and just relaxing before hitting up the grocery store for a big trip. We got home late enough it was a sandwich for dinner kind of night.  Sunday we had plans to go out and ab...

Weekend Recap on a Tuesday! :)

So I was trying to get this posted yesterday but the littles decided they wanted to test Mommy yesterday and not allow me to get anything done. By the time both kids were in bed for the night I was so tired I just went straight to bed instead of having some "me" time. This weekend started out running errands and going to the park! We haven't been to the park since August when I was put on bedrest! Our newest park member! She learned to climb the slide from her Aunt. She watched her climb up and just had to do it herself The park can be exhausting for little boys!  Scott got home late, late Friday night like 12:30 am and we went straight to bed because he had to be up and out the door for a class at 9 am. He was gone until 4:30 and as soon as he got home Charlotte would not leave his lap! Even with baby Riley sitting there. We watched football all day, and even late into the night, since Saturday is devoted to college football! The ...
