Weekend Recap: Lots of rain!

Happy Monday!
It has been a laid back weekend mostly due to the rain that has been joining our day every afternoon!

We hung out at Walmart Friday afternoon and grabbed some things we needed for the weekend

including marshmallows and s'mores supplies! Yum :)

Saturday morning we played outside before the rain came out to play. This little was enjoying walking and pushing the bubble mower, at the same time.

Then this joined us so we decided to head in and get dinner started

Who doesn't put stickers all over their face as a weekend activity!?! This girl is such a goof and wanted to play with stickers and crayons while I made dinner and washed dishes

After dinner we made s'mores in our fireplace! It was so toasty and warm and the smores were so good!

Sunday morning was spent playing, playing and more playing with naps thrown in between! This little guy looks like the happiest baby to be in captivity.

He loved looking up from sitting on his sisters book and smiling at momma! Such a cutie!!

Some nasty ugly rain hit Sunday afternoon during the kiddos naptime so the older girls and I cuddled up on the couch and marathoned Cuthroat Kitchen on Netflix. Snacks, hot chocolate, blankets and rain.... the perfect combination for our Sunday afternoon. Then it was time for dinner and bed for the little kiddos and just relaxing for the rest of the evening! It was a fun laid back kind of weekend!

Lots of rain headed our way for the next two days! Tropical Storm Colin is about to run right over us! :(

I saw this on Pinterest and just thought it was hilarious!

Have a fabulous Monday! Hopefully it is not as rainy as our day is going to be!
See you back here tomorrow for Show and Tell Tuesday with Andrea, we are talking all about what is in our bag!

XOXO

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...

Show and Tell Tuesday: School Photos

Happy Tuesday! Today I am joining Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday's and today we are showing Worst School Pictures! I have a combination of good and bad school pictures just to mix it up a little bit!  Little baby Cat right before Pre-K!  Back in 2005, I was in middle school and going through a short hair and converse phase where I wore a lot of black and tried to fit in with a certain group of people! I was such a goof And Throwing it back to 2004! Aren't I just cute?!  Senior Year of High School  Senior Year pictures! I had ridiculously long hair that didn't like to cooperate for pictures! Then I chopped all of my hair off before going off to college Kept it short second year of college And finally grew it out and even colored it, I was in a rebellious stage it seemed! Those are my worst and best school pictures! I don't have too many pictures from my school days just because everything was thrown away when I lef...

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday!  Today I am linking up with Andrea , Narci , and Erika for some Friday Favorites full of sunshine, walks, and playing outside! We have enjoyed getting out and playing and we had a five day weekend for St. Patrick's Day and we enjoyed every bit of it!  We have had gorgeous weather the past week and we have been soaking it up with all the park time and this little guy has been loving the warm weather too! He loves just chilling in his car seat while the older two run and get all the wiggles out!  We have also been taking an afternoon walk around our neighborhood and these kids are all about riding their bikes or running in front of the stroller while we do that! Getting out and watching these two have a good time is definitely a favorite!  Our little turned one month old a week ago! While it makes me sad that he is growing so fast, it is definitely a favorite to know he has been ours for four weeks now! It's been so muc...
