Weekend Recap on a Tuesday

Happy Tuesday Y'all! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and a great Monday! Today I am re-capping out weekend! It was such a busy weekend I am still recovering from it today!

Friday morning we headed to our local library to get library cards! This girl got her first library card and she was super excited! She loves to read and I cannot wait to help her explore the world of books! :) How cute is she with her library card?!

After the library we grabbed a quick lunch before naps and then right as I was waking them up we had to jump in the car! This girl was playing as we were about to leave the house

Two hours later and it is time for some Mcdonald's French Fries! We met Mimi and Grandpa halfway so they could pick her up for a sleepover! It was her first sleepover since we moved and she was super duper excited!

Saturday started way too early! 6:15 am early. We were up and ready and back in the car at 7:15 and drove 4 hours to see Charlotte and drop Riley off at Mimi's for the day! I had some errands to run including getting my wedding bands fixed. Two of the diamonds apparently shattered, long story, but I didn't break them, so they are fixing them now

I didn't take any pictures running around but we picked this goof and her brother up about 3:15 ran one more quick errand and then it was time to hit the road back home. We got home about 9 and this girl had mail from Grandpa! She got a surprise gnome and has not stopped carrying it since!

Sunday started out slow. We made breakfast at home and just sat around and then about noon headed to the beach!

Sunscreen and this boy's hair means mohawk time!

They were enjoying sitting with Daddy after not seeing him all week very much

This boy was having too much fun with his daddy

This little was enjoying the sand, we built sandcastles right after this photo

Sun baby

This one took a nap on momma while Charlotte played in the sand and the others went and played in the ocean!

At this point Riley only got to nap for about 15 minutes before we had to turn our chairs in and head out for dinner. He was grumpy, I was grumpy and the day just started to go downhill. The babies were exhausted and hungry and overheating, and I was exhausted and way too overheated myself, plus Riley had just thrown an epic tantrum so I was just done.  We threw the bags in the car and headed to our favorite chicken place. Chicken, spuds and cold drinks helped tremendously and we were leaving right as the storm hit!

Overall the weekend was great, I am just exhausted from all the driving! It was hectic running around and being up really early to get around but we enjoyed our time together and look forward to more beach trips and trips to Mimi's!

Have a great Tuesday!
XOXO

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
