Our Fourth of July Weekend

Happy Wednesday!

Today it is all about our Fourth of July weekend activities!
We started out our festivities with getting haircuts!

My hair was long, thick and very heavy so I needed something to make it through the hot and humid weather that we live in

So I cut it really short

It curled up afterwards from being wet, but not washed. It took me a few days to get used to not having my long hair to just throw up into a bun but I love it now!

After haircuts and lunch at our favorite pizza place we went and bought lots of fireworks! Riley saw Daddy and decided to stand up while we were in line. You can see Charlotte's little arm reaching for Riley! He sat down right after but it was cute to see them interacting!

After naps, we went to the town 10 minutes north of us and went to the fireworks festival and made silly faces while waitng

He was throwing puffs at me

Then getting very serious when he saw them again

My sweet hubs! He also cut his hair!

They had a farmer's market while we were there and someone was holding an alligator

and had another one behind him

The hubs and I

Riley and Daddy watching the fireworks! Riley loved them. The loud noises did not phase him at all

He even let Daddy  hold him up with his bottle

Charlotte on the other hand, wanted nothing to do with them. She tackled me when they started and stayed in this position the whole time.

My sweet babies!

The next day we grilled out for dinner and did our own fireworks

and sparklers! The babies were in bed but they didn't hear a thing and slept all night!

Third Fourth of July for this cutie!
A little throwback of Charlotte's First Fourth of July! She was so very little! :)

First Fourth of July for this sweet boy

The Fourth of July we wore our red white and blue but stayed home and just did pretty much nothing. Scott had to leave for work that night so we just relaxed but still had a good day!
These cuties are so sweet! I loved the outfits for the Fourth of July!

So we started out Fourth of July busy, and ended it at home relaxing. It was a fun weekend of celebrating America and I really loved seeing Charlotte understand a little more of what were were talking about as the weekend went on.

Have a great Wednesday everyone!
XOXO

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...
