Show and Tell Tuesday: Scary/Funny Story

Happy October!

It has been a while since I blogged! Things are just a bit crazy, and trying to get into a schedule seems all but impossible right now. By the time the babies are in bed I am exhausted haha so I typically sit down and fall right to sleep! I miss blogging and after a long break, that was not intentional at first but soon became needed because of family drama, I am back.

Today I am linking up for Show and Tell Tuesday and talking about Halloween stories: Scary or funny!

Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday, besides Christmas! I cannot decide between the two so I just say they are both my favorite! Now that I have littles it makes it all much more fun, because now I can share in the memoires with my babies, and I can introduce them to the wonderful world of pumpkins, candy, and costumes!
This is as scary as our halloween got! I had a skeleton and a monster at the apartment!

The pumpkins we made for them, cute but scary :)

Last year was Char's first halloween actually walking around, so I went all out. She was Minnie Mouse, and we were still living by Mimi at the time so of course we went to the neighborhood I had trick or treated in as a kid. R was still a little itty bitty baby, but I still dressed him up in a Mickey Mouse bib and socks so he was Mickey and she was Minnie!

Aren't they just adorable? Charlotte juts didn't want to sit still to take a picture, that is why she is making that face. She was fine after this picture! I think I was more nervous about walking up to the houses, than she was. She ran back to Mimi each time which was funny but we went so early that nothing was super scary since she was so young! I'm afraid of everything so I don't do much when it comes to scary.

This year we are in our home and have a huge neighborhood to explore and I cannot wait to see how this year turns out. Hopefully no one scares Char too badly, but knowing how she gets walking through Walmart these past few weeks means she is going to be very clingy! She says "Scared Mommy" When we walk past all of the blow ups so it should be spooky but fun!
Thanks for stopping by and see y'all next time!

XOXO

Show and Tell Tuesday: Prom night!

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, and today we are talking all about Prom! Here are a few facts first before all the pictures of itty bitty high school me! 1) I dated the same boy from freshman year of high school until senior year of high school so he was my date for his junior and senior prom which was my sophomore year and junior year. 2) I went with my best friend my senior year. I had a good time, but missed my boyfriend pretty much the whole time. 3) I went all out for my first prom sophomore year, with my hair, nails and prom dress and then again my senior year. 4) I only participated in senior skip day, which really isn't a thing but seniors do it anyways at my high school, my senior year. My best friend and I met super early on the day of Prom for breakfast and coffee and then just spent the rest of the day together doing random things like shopping, then getting our nails done with one of our other friends, and then ...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
