Weekend Recap

Happy Monday!

It feels so good to be home and be able to cook meals and clean and use our own things! I really missed home, and having a hurricane come close to our home makes me love it even more now that we actually have something to come back to. Many people lost their lives, or their homes, and it is devastating, so I am very grateful for what I have!

We had a very relaxing weekend, well relaxing for everyone but Char and I. We started Potty Training Friday and it was all but easy. She had some problems Friday she didnt go in the potty at all and I gave up cleaning the floor and we stayed outside the rest of the day , but Saturday she woke up and did it and was so proud of herself she has gone ever since and has not had an accident since, except for when I didn't believe she really has to go because she just got off the potty and had already gone. That has just happened once, and now I take her whenever she tells me when she needs to go.

We are by no means done but the progress she has made is exceptional and I am super proud of my girl!

We played outside a lot, went for walks, and sat around and watched football all weekend so not much went on this time around, but it was so nice to have the husband home after a week of not seeing him. He left the night we got back from evacuating and got back Saturday so I missed him and spent lots of time cuddling with him!

Here are some pictures snapped from this weekend!

These sweet cuddle bugs!

Got all of our supplies to tackle this potty training!

This little boy loves carrying his puppy around that he got for his birthday! He is just the sweetest little!

Watching cartoons and making messes, the most favorite thing they could ever do!

He stole his sister's chair from her and looked too cute doing it

Playing in the front yard after dinner Saturday night! They have too much fun together!

This was her potty chart on Saturday afternoon. She gets a sticker every time she goes and gets a prize after three boxes are filled. She loved this idea and went in the potty every time once she went first thing that morning. So proud of her :)

This little has to be with Momma at all times. So when I'm cooking he is in the chair watching!

These littles love to read, so while Daddy and I watched football these goofs played with toys and read all the books in the box

We had a fun weekend at home, now on to the week. We are finally going back to school, and Scott is headed back to work so its just the babies and I during the day again! So thankful for all of our lives and blessed to have what we do.
Have a great Monday!
XOXO

Show and Tell Tuesday: Prom night!

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, and today we are talking all about Prom! Here are a few facts first before all the pictures of itty bitty high school me! 1) I dated the same boy from freshman year of high school until senior year of high school so he was my date for his junior and senior prom which was my sophomore year and junior year. 2) I went with my best friend my senior year. I had a good time, but missed my boyfriend pretty much the whole time. 3) I went all out for my first prom sophomore year, with my hair, nails and prom dress and then again my senior year. 4) I only participated in senior skip day, which really isn't a thing but seniors do it anyways at my high school, my senior year. My best friend and I met super early on the day of Prom for breakfast and coffee and then just spent the rest of the day together doing random things like shopping, then getting our nails done with one of our other friends, and then ...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
