Weekend Recap!

Happy Monday!

I wont lie, today is a lot like my dish towel says:

We had all the plans to go exploring and do something productive this weekend, but I only managed to clean the entire kitchen on Friday afternoon while the babies were napping!
Here is a a bit of our weekend:

Friday morning started out with two monkeys jumping on the bed bright and early!
I love how they wake up so happy in the morning

Riley got his 15 month shots on Thursday so I was fully expecting a grump and a half and got a very happy smiley baby boy instead!
We practiced blowing kisses

We snuggled

and we ran around with our backpack of toys Mommy did not unpack from the doctor's visit.

Saturday we spent lots of time snuggling on the couch, napping, and watching cartoons and just relaxing before hitting up the grocery store for a big trip.
We got home late enough it was a sandwich for dinner kind of night.

Sunday we had plans to go out and about exploring but it was super cold, and windy and we just had no motivation to do anything so we spent the day resting and recharging for the week ahead. It was nice being able to sit around and just relax as a family and enjoy good food!

Hubby cooked breakfast Saturday morning, Sunday morning and made dinner Sunday night, so I got a break from cooking this weekend too which was very nice!
I managed to not take any pictures, since my phone was on the counter pretty much the entire day! We spent a lot of time being away from social media and really focusing on each other!

Now it is back to the grind of things with doing all the laundry, but luckily not having to go to the grocery store today like I normally do on Monday! It is still very cold today, but will be back to normal temperatures for our area tomorrow so we are going to build a blanket fort and just play with all of the toys and make a complete mess of things! I hope everyone had a rejuvenating weekend and here is to a wonderful week ahead!

Thanks for stopping by!

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...
