Weekend Recap: Last weekend edition

Happy Monday!

We have had a house full of sick kiddos and sick parents. It has been a crazy busy week on top of that so blogging took a break for personal reasons. This week I am back with a weekend recap for last weekend and then the weekend recap for this past weekend I will do tomorrow. :)

We have had packed weekends the past two weekends! Friday we started out watching our favorite show, Mickey and the Roadster Racers, and then we went out to get some clothes for spring weather and Charlotte needed a new dress and dress shoes for a surprise she was going to on Saturday!

Saturday started out slow, Scott had to work so I cleaned up the house a bit, and then watched movies with the kiddos. At about 2 Scott got home from work and the kiddos got up from naps about the same time and it got crazy really quickly. I had to run to the grocery store because we needed a new seat for Charlotte so she could go with Daddy but so that I could keep the van with me and Riley, without having to move car seats around, because that is just too much work haha. When we got back the girls got dressed up and went to a Father Daughter Dance with Scott and Riley and I stayed home for a mommy son date! Then we all met up at Panera Bread for dinner afterwards!

My sweet girl all dressed up and ready to go to her first Father Daughter Dance!

Mommy-son time

We watched cartoons, went on a walk and just hung out! It was so much fun having some one on one time with my baby boy! And Charlotte and the girls had a blast with their daddy!

Sunday we were all too exhausted and because Daddy was leaving for Virginia so we stayed home from church and made breakfast and just hung out around the house and then we went for a walk at our local park.
Sweet boy walking with momma

and then walking with Daddy!

My big girl pushing the stroller

and hanging from an exercise pole

and of course because sister was doing it, then brother had to

and our beautiful view

Sweet kiddos sitting with momma and daddy! I love our littles so much

By the end of it, Char was about done with walking so she got a ride on Daddy's shoulders and loved it after a little getting used to it!

So that was our last weekend! We had a lot to do on Saturday that led to just relaxing and spending time with each other on Sunday! Tomorrow I will recap our weekend this past weekend which was busy and filled with lots of walking!
Have a great Monday
Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to all! It's been a wonderful family weekend! Unfortunately our Memorial Day ended early, since Scott is now headed to work. He has to be in Miami, 7 am tomorrow! Yuck. Luckily Monday is almost over and we only have to make it until Friday until we see him again! Trying to stay positive and look at it as a good thing, not a bad. It is hard to see him leave, but I know he has to go to work. Charlotte was sad but luckily nap time was soon after he left so she transitioned into sleep fine. She will be upset when she gets up in a few but lots of cuddles, cartoons and playing until bed time will keep her preoccupied. We are headed to the beach this weekend, and then staying down there for the week while Scott works, but we will all be together and Mommy and Charlotte will be looking at houses while Daddy works so we will stay occupied with that and lots of pool time! Cannot wait until this week is over. May is almost over, then June is here! Cannot believe that! ...

Show and Tell Tuesday: School Photos

Happy Tuesday! Today I am joining Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday's and today we are showing Worst School Pictures! I have a combination of good and bad school pictures just to mix it up a little bit!  Little baby Cat right before Pre-K!  Back in 2005, I was in middle school and going through a short hair and converse phase where I wore a lot of black and tried to fit in with a certain group of people! I was such a goof And Throwing it back to 2004! Aren't I just cute?!  Senior Year of High School  Senior Year pictures! I had ridiculously long hair that didn't like to cooperate for pictures! Then I chopped all of my hair off before going off to college Kept it short second year of college And finally grew it out and even colored it, I was in a rebellious stage it seemed! Those are my worst and best school pictures! I don't have too many pictures from my school days just because everything was thrown away when I lef...

Life Lately!

Happy Monday! Its a little life lately post to catch up on our past week! I started back to school for my Masters, Scott started his senior year of undergrad and life has gone crazy!  This little is working on sitting up, and finding all of his toys that he didn't know he had until he became mobile. He isn't crawling but he is really good at rolling himself around the place!  With sister in school all day these two are becoming best friends! I'll catch Skyler pulling R's hair, but I will also catch them laughing and playing and reading together! It's the sweetest little bond!  He enjoyed rolling himself underneath his crib a lot, all while I was sitting in the room with him! He loves to explore, even when it means momma has to rescue him from under the bed :P Afternoon cartons, goldfish and playing with toys We have been reading lots of books lately, we are going to the library this week to get some books but Ri has enjoyed reading wha...
