Weekend Recap:Four day edition

Today I am recapping our weekend, which was a four day weekend for the girls! Friday was St. Patrick's Day so we went all out in our green and I even made green pancakes for breakfast! We watched our local parade on TV since going anywhere near it was going to be impossible, and then just played with toys and packed the littles suitcases for their weekend at Mimi's.

Friday afternoon we jumped in the van, put on Moana and did the two hour drive to meet Mimi and Grandpa. After the drive back we went out to dinner and then Scott and I went to bed because we were getting up at 3 am to head to work. We had two deliveries to make and it was a super long day but we enjoyed being able to spend some one on one time together!
Taking a break from unloading the truck and checking in with all the kiddos :)

Sunday we got up and went out to eat and then all headed to pick the babies up and then it was time for a movie and bed when we got home.

Since monday was also a day off of school we did our normal going to the grocery store like we always do, but the girls tagged along, so we also stopped at Starbucks since we were out at Sam's. Then it was naps and cleaning and getting everything ready for our busy week. We pulled Charlotte's car out after lunch and naps for some fun in the sunshine since it felt so good on our first day of Spring!

We went from long sleeves and pants to shorts and tank tops for the afternoon

She had sunglasses but refused to wear them, so it was super bright and sunny for this picture.

It was a super busy weekend and this week is only going to get crazier as it goes so it was nice to have some alone time with the hubby, even if it meant working. The babies enjoyed the time with Mimi and I got a break for a few days to regroup and tackle this week strong.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and a wonderful Monday!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
