First weekend of Thanksgiving Break recap!

Hey Y'all. Its been a long busy non-stop week! We started off our Thanksgiving Break crazy busy and ended it crazy busy! We were in the car non-stop this week, with going to Jacksonville and then Athens twice! I will split this post up into three different posts, so keep an eye out all week for all the fun we had!

I'm catching up on all the laundry and cleaning up the house just to get ourselves back into a rhythm of life again so here is how we started out our break, relaxing and chilling watching football all weekend!

these two love making messes, and that is exactly what they did. They pulled all the books down and will get out all of the stuffed animals and play and play and play and then jump into the pile of animals as fun.

Trying to find something nutritious and filling for after working out at the gym and so far these Kind bars are pretty much the only thing I have found that I can enjoy. I'm not much of a eat in the morning kind of girl but I'm always starving after the gym, so little bars like this help.

I went to a WOD on Saturday morning and it kicked my butt, but I was back home in time to watch these two playing with blocks so sweetly together and it was the best!

Then it was time for some UGA football and these two clung to daddy like crazy! They enjoyed the time they had with him and we enjoyed a Bulldogs win over Kentucky!

The next morning we were up bright and early and in the car about 8:00 because we had a fun adventure ahead of us!

At 10 we were at the Jacksonville Zoo, and this little boy was super excited to be getting on the Choo Choo Train! He kept saying Choo Choo and moving his arm up and down!

We got there about an hour after they opened and it was not busy at all! It was nice and quiet so we enjoyed taking our time taking all the sights in.

Just four kiddos and I.

The babies are at such a fun age where they are so excited about the zoo and enjoy time out of the house and this picture just made me so happy that I started crying because I just feel so overwhelmingly blessed to have these babies to call mine!

We watched the fish play

and then these two found the kid maze and ran back and forth for a solid 15 minutes without stopping! It was the best

This girl got up close and personal with the fish

and we enjoyed looking at the giraffes, these were probably Riley's favorite

 we sat on alligators,

and this little guy was exhausted and ended up falling asleep while strolling around! I ended up finally being able to get the sucker out of his mouth but at first he had a tight grip on it!

We looked at all the different snakes and even found out what kind we had on our porch twice now (I'm absolutely terrified of snakes, eek)

and to think this one lives so close too, is quite eye-opening.

We enjoyed looking at all kinds of animals

and we rode the train a few times!

This little boy enjoyed it so much, but did not want to get out of his stroller so I locked the wheels and held the handle so he could enjoy it but not move!

The zoo is right on the river and it is just absolutely beautiful! It was the perfect weather to be at the zoo, and we enjoyed how it was not too hot or humid, it was just right.

After the zoo we headed down the road about 20 minutes to the Cheesecake Factory for a late lunch! It was absolutely delicious and this boy was having a blast making funny faces!

The Cheesecake Factory was at a little shopping center and the way this one was set up I absolutely loved. It was like a mall, but outdoors so you walked around and then went into shops so it wasn't all covered in one big building! It was nice to walk around and get some fresh air after lunch!

We found some Christmas decorations to pose under! Isn't she just the cutest :)

We had such a great time on our adventure to Jacksonville. It is nice to be able to hop in the car for an hour and 45 minutes and be in not only a different state but a different environment!
So that was our first weekend of Thanksgiving break! Started out slow and nice and ended with a big day out at the zoo and around Jacksonville :)

Stay tuned for the rest of Thanksgiving week coming later on this week!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
