Halloween 2017

Today we are reminiscing on Halloween 2017 and all the activities we did this year!

Ri did not wake up from nap very well Friday night before we went to our town festival but he was fine once we were in the car! I had Queen Elsa and a race car driver this year and Ri's costume this year is my favorite of all costumes he has worn!

Getting ready to get in the car

So this year we did the Scarecrow Stroll again in our local town, where the kiddos get to dress up and go from vendor to vendor and get candy and the parents get to see all the different businesses in town.  Charlotte loved being able to sit in the pink firetruck! It made her night :) We got home well past bedtime and these two were so tired they went straight to bed!

That Saturday we had a trunk or treat event happening on our street and I had a blast throwing our handmade gravestone in the back of my van to decorate! :) It was fun to just throw something together in 10 minutes and it turn out so good.

Mimi was in town this weekend so she got to see the kiddos go trick or treating with us!

Char and her best friend!

I was pushing the stroller for my friend! Her two year old wanted nothing to do with trick or treating and was in the baby carrier so I was helping out and pushing the baby.
Trunk or Treating was a blast! I am so glad we chose to participate. It was just enough houses to get the kids candy but not as hectic as Halloween night!
Monday the 31st we painted our little pumpkins we got from the corn maze and these two had so much fun!

The finished product :) Definitely going to be a family tradition

I pulled out the decorations Tuesday, yes on Halloween.

and we decorated our cooler for the candy. This year we went all out, Scott had a last minute surge of halloween spirit and we got big candy bars and went all out and it was seriously the best to watch him get into it! :)

Scott stayed behind to hand out candy and the kiddos and I headed out for a walk around our neighborhood

and by the fifth house this little boy was out cold and stayed asleep until we were almost back home. He must have been so tired because he slept for about an hour

Our front door! We raced back to finish giving out candy since Scott had to head to work that night so I got to sit outside while the babies ate dinner with big sister watching them!

We got so much good candy and had such a blast this year! It was just me and the babies for most of the activities but that is alright, we still had such a good time! Halloween might be my favorite this year because Charlotte is of the age where she was all in and totally got it and I loved seeing her light up with all the different activities!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great Tuesday!

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
