Weekend Recap

Why is it every time I look at my calendar the month is over?! Goodness time is flying by! Happy Monday everyone. It is a wet and rainy one hear and I have two coughing toddlers and a doctor's appointment to go to.

Friday we were up and playing before the sun came up but once it did we were out watering our garden, which the kids love to help me do.

watching our tomatoes grow is my favorite. We have three so far and I'm hoping they keep doing well

and of course we cannot be outside without playing so into the sandbox we went!

after naps we got a package at the door with our new shoes! Ya'll these new shoes are the most adorable shoes! Mimi sent them and they are the brand natives, and I am so excited that my kiddos finally have some of these!

Riley got a dark blue pair, and char got a pair of white with pink hearts and I am so excited for them to wear them!

Saturday morning we were up super early for soccer practice! This girl is loving playing soccer and she is always so excited to go play!

Charlotte was playing defense with the other two girls and they were told to guard the spaceship so they all hopped in the goal to defend it since they weren't really sure what they were supposed to be doing. It was absolutely precious. (just for the other families privacy I have covered the children's faces)

We have a few new trees in our yard, and our cherry tree is getting its first blooms since being placed in the ground! It is always so exciting seeing the flowers on trees!
The rest of Saturday was spent playing outside and just resting around the house!

Saturday night ended with cuddles with  boy kiddos in my lap! Charlotte had fallen asleep while I was out grabbing dinner so she was not happy when I got home, and neither was this mama! But luckily I got the problem fixed and we got to eat dinner and watch a quick documentary with a calm four year old!

Sunday was a strange one for me. This little boy slept in, until 9 am. That is so late for my kiddos and so it threw me off. I am so glad he slept well though! I love pictures of my sweet kids sleeping!

Once everyone was awake we had muffins for breakfast, played outside a little bit and then came upstairs to play with a puzzle!

Then we got dressed for the day and headed to get our groceries for the week! Balloons for these two helped them get through checkout!

The rest of Sunday was spent doing laundry, dishes, and getting things ready for the week and then I headed out for girls night! I haven't gone out without my kiddos very often so it was a nice change of pace to be kid free for a little bit. Then I was home in time to kiss the kiddos goodnight and put them in bed!
We had a busy weekend full of things to get done but it was a good one. I had a lot of good time with my babies and we got everything done we needed to!

Thanks for stopping by! See ya'll back here soon!

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

Weekend Recap!

Happy Monday! I wont lie, today is a lot like my dish towel says: We had all the plans to go exploring and do something productive this weekend, but I only managed to clean the entire kitchen on Friday afternoon while the babies were napping! Here is a a bit of our weekend:  Friday morning started out with two monkeys jumping on the bed bright and early!  I love how they wake up so happy in the morning Riley got his 15 month shots on Thursday so I was fully expecting a grump and a half and got a very happy smiley baby boy instead!  We practiced blowing kisses We snuggled and we ran around with our backpack of toys Mommy did not unpack from the doctor's visit.  Saturday we spent lots of time snuggling on the couch, napping, and watching cartoons and just relaxing before hitting up the grocery store for a big trip. We got home late enough it was a sandwich for dinner kind of night.  Sunday we had plans to go out and ab...
