Weekend Recap:Busy weekend edition

Its been crazy around here, so today is a perfect day to do a weekend recap since it was a long one!

We started our weekend on Thursday afternoon with a trip to the playground just down the street in the downtown section of where we live! We haven't been to this playground since we signed on our house two years ago so it was a blast!

Char is slowly becoming more and more comfortable with swings, especially because she can swing with Riley and they laugh and laugh together!

and this boy has always loved the swing. He is almost too big for this swing so this momma is going to be sad when he starts swinging on the big swings

These two would go down the slides saying ready, and then go and it was the cutest!

It was a rough day and so being able to go to the park and play helped all of us! We were in better spirits that night.

Friday started bright and early with a drive down to Brunswick to put our van in the shop for an oil change and tire rotation.

We were able to leave this time since the kids and I followed Scott down, so we took the kids to the mall and this girl helped by pushing brother in the stroller :)

and these two loved being able to ride in the cars at the mall. They have never done that before so this was a real treat

We spent a couple hours down in Brunswick then headed home, and once we were home the hubby and I got to head out kiddo free and head to Lowe's and Home Depot!

What better way to end a busy Friday then spending some time with your hubby at the hardware store picking out rock for the garden!

Happy St. Patrick's Day from us!

We bought flowers for the front

and planted the rest of our trees and veggies!

and then sat down and played while this beautiful sunset happened!

Sunday morning came way too quick, but I had the cutest helpers with new watering cans to help me water my flowers and garden!

and then we built race tracks and houses out of wood that daddy was going to throw away but I convinced him we should keep them for these two to play with!

I can finally see the floor in our garage

and all the tools and chemicals and everything the kiddos can't touch are locked in this room that is only accessible by the garage door button that the kids cannot touch since they are little!

and what better way to end a long day of working than with an ice cream from the ice cream truck!
Scott chased it down so it would actually come down our street!

You know the kids had a good day when they are passed out but in strange positions haha. I had to move her legs but she did not wake up once during the process!

We had such good but very busy weekend! Lots of things happening to our yard and we are excited for when it is all done and we can sit outside and enjoy all of this work.
Thanks for stopping by!
See y'all soon :)

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
