Life Lately

Hey Ya'll! Welcome back to our little life! Today it is a Life Lately post to catch up on all that has been happening! We have been so busy and I have a random assortment of photos so here we go!

We carry all the cars around, everywhere, so when we were at the dentist we pulled out his cars and he just sat and played while we waited!

These two love looking out our window at the hotel and watching all the cars go by! They were playing with the toy cars on the windowsill while watching all the cars! It was the sweetest

On Tuesday, we were going to run around town for a little bit and then when we pulled into Mimi's work my tire went flat. So we took it to a shop down the street and waited. Let me just say it is so difficult for a toddler to stay quiet at a doctors office and we were going on two hours, so we walked to the nearest park to run some energy out.

They played and played and played

They had a great time at the park! We try and play every time we go up to Athens, so it worked out and we got to go. Luckily they were able to patch my tire and we were on the road after lunch time!

I have the best helpers with watering our flowers and garden

and they love to help me water the trees too.

While mommy washes her car, these littles were building museums,

and car tracks and they had such a blast just playing and watching me wash the van

Saturday was full of fun! We had our first soccer game

and Mimi and Aunt Kayli surprised Charlotte and came down for her game. It was the cutest thing to see them play a game against other littles and Charlotte scored two goals

After soccer we got some brunch and then headed home to change clothes and get ready to take senior pictures since we have a high school senior who is about to graduate in a few weeks :)

So these two ran and played on the playground with Mimi and had the best time!

It was beautiful warm day and it was just good to be able to get out and play in nature. Char was so brave and took pictures in the tree!

Monday was yucky outside for us! It finally rained, and the amount of rain that came down was huge so our yard looked like this by 9 am. It was flooded but then dried up later that afternoon thankfully!
We played in our pjs downstairs and watched the rain

and then played with our toys upstairs after naps with the craziest bed head! It was a dreary rainy cuddly day!

We also got to visit a new dentist, a pediatric dentist for Ri,

he needs some work done and so we are trying out a new dentist

and this little guy did so good! Completely blew my mind how he just hopped into the chair and did so good for this doctor!

So we have been super busy but have had a blast along the way! The rain really helped our trees and new garden and we have enjoyed the quiet few days at home. It's been fun!

Thanks for stopping by!
See ya'll back here soon!

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...

Show and Tell Tuesday: Prom night!

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, and today we are talking all about Prom! Here are a few facts first before all the pictures of itty bitty high school me! 1) I dated the same boy from freshman year of high school until senior year of high school so he was my date for his junior and senior prom which was my sophomore year and junior year. 2) I went with my best friend my senior year. I had a good time, but missed my boyfriend pretty much the whole time. 3) I went all out for my first prom sophomore year, with my hair, nails and prom dress and then again my senior year. 4) I only participated in senior skip day, which really isn't a thing but seniors do it anyways at my high school, my senior year. My best friend and I met super early on the day of Prom for breakfast and coffee and then just spent the rest of the day together doing random things like shopping, then getting our nails done with one of our other friends, and then ...
