2018 Year in Review part 2

Howdy folks! Welcome to Wednesday!
 Halfway through the week!
Today I am finishing up my 2018 Year in Review, part 2!
Hope Ya'll enjoy!

July 2018

We spent our Fourth of July with our best friends, eating yummy food and then shooting fireworks and doing sparklers together!

Work from sun up to well after sun down called for some beautiful views!

We picked out new backpacks,

and rode the mall train

and these two enjoyed getting to hang out with the new cat at the daycare they went to!

August 2018

August was a whirlwind with meeting our pre-k teacher,

to the first day of school

and these two missing each other so much they tackled each other on the floor the minute they saw each other

Moved the oldest into her dorm for college

and cuddled on the couch a lot!

We found out a wonderful surprise where these two are being promoted to big brother and big sister,

to a precious new baby! :)

So excited to be adding a new little to our family in a couple of weeks

the littles and I made cupcakes for daddy's birthday

and went to a trampoline park for a birthday party

and had the best time ever!

September 2018

This little celebrated grandparents day with Mimi

and the kiddos wanted to match with daddy and have a bandage on their hands just like him, even though daddy was the only one with stiches

We played outside a lot,

and with lots of water balloons,

and once again went to the trampoline park for another birthday party!

We celebrated this precious boys third birthday

with his choice of brownies instead of cake :)

October 2018

Cuddles for momma on my birthday

and hubby got creative with my birthday candles

and we celebrated a family party for this little

We had all the halloween fun this month,
my Catboy and Ariel :)

went to the carnival and rode all the rides

and went on a nature halloween hike with daddy!

Muffins with Moms 2018 :)
Cannot believe my little girl is old enough to be in school

and we finally made it to the pumpkin patch!

We rode the hay ride out to the pumpkins

and these two were loving it!

we played games, jumped on the trampoline and ate lunch

and enjoyed a stroll through the corn maze! It was a total blast and we cannot wait to go again next year!

We went through downtown trick or treating, and these two got to walk together for the first time! It was so much fun to see them interacting with people and saying trick or treat!

On Halloween night we met up with our besties and walked around our neighborhood and had a total blast! Halloween was a school night this year, but we still managed to spend a couple hours out and about running around and playing like crazy!

November 2018

November we kicked off by traveling and surprising Mimi and Grandpa with an Anniversary party! 25 years of marriage and they are still going strong :) I couldn't ask for better parents to look up to and to have as grandparents for my sweet littles!

We also kicked off the craziest season at school with lots of projects, including disguising a turkey as a unicorn

and sitting in the freezing cold for a book parade

where I had a little mouse with a cookie :)

For Thanksgiving this year we did something a little different, and took a road trip

to the beach

and it was the best time!

Happy Thanksgiving from hubby and I

We ate the best food

and rode on the little train on the boardwalk

and just enjoyed time with daddy in the sand

It was nice to be able to sit and watch the ocean

but also go out to dinner as a family of four and enjoy ourselves

We also were with Mimi and Grandpa and my sister and her boyfriend and it was just nice to be all together and enjoying time with the littles

and then as soon as we got home my two boys were playing video games and chilling before bed :P

December 2018

December started out with a surprise baby shower

and lots of hand holding and cuddles

It was cold at parent drop off but these two were still smiling and happy

and we visited both malls a couple times throughout the month, and Riley was obsessed with the Christmas tree and Choo Choo

the kiddos got to make new bears as their Christmas gift from their older sister

and we enjoyed a pre Christmas Eve at Mimi's house where we celebrated with family and ate so much good food!

These two were so excited on Christmas morning, and played with the Christmas train for hours.

And we had a relaxed New Year's Eve where we played Candy Land, ate good food and watched football!

2018 was incredibly busy and insane, and while I am glad it is over and we are in a new year, I am sad too.  I am excited to be introducing a new little into our family this year,  but will miss my adventures with just these two! Closing one door and opening another and I am excited to see what 2019 has in store for our family!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a glimpse into our crazy and busy 2018! It was a blast!
See Ya'll again on Friday!

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
